This sleek and inviting villa is situated just a hundred metres from a white sand beach. Beautiful palm trees, which offer shade to the villa’s large swimming pool and surroundings, seem to stretch out towards the beckoning sea. The interior is crisp and bright, thanks to its many windows looking out onto the striking Mediterranean garden. A large covered patio offers a cool space in which to dine and relax outdoors.
The property is located six kilometres down the coast from the city centre of Marsala, famed primarily for its excellent wine. It boasts a fine archaeological museum; the nearby site on the island Motya is home to remains from Phoenician times. Residing in a shallow lagoon, it is possible to walk there when the tide permits, otherwise boat trips can be arranged from Marsala to Motya and its neighbouring small islands.Marsala is located in the Province of Trapani in the westernmost part of Sicily. The town is known chiefly for two things.
Firstly, it is famous for the docking of Garibaldi on 11 May 1860, during the Expedition of the Thousand. Secondly, for its exceptional Marsala wine. Though the order and significance of these is largely up to the visitor!
Marsala is built on the ruins of the ancient Carthaginian city of Lilybaion, and includes in its territory the archaeological site of Motya island, an ancient Phoenician town. At the very westernmost point of both Sicily and Marsala is its splendid archaeological museum.
The Egadi Islands are extremely worth exploring, offering much natural beauty and tranquillity. These are just off the coast, accessible by boat trips which can be arranged in Marsala. Walking around these islands it is still possible to find deserted mountain paths; secluded coves and bays with crystal clear waters.
 A feature of the area is the Natural Reserve called Stagnone Lagoon — a marine area with shallow waters which create the perfect environment for salt pans. These are truly a sight to behold: a walk along the salt pans of the Stagnone at sunset offers spectacular, unforgettable views.
