Villa Sacro Quore holds a fabulous location on the outskirts of the town of Modica within south-east Sicily, set between two valleys, the area boasts beautiful scenery and really is the perfect place for a Sicilian escape. The villa is set back from the road with large entrance gates and expansive grounds giving a real sense of privacy and exclusivity while shops, bars and restaurants are still just a short stroll away.
The modern villa has been carefully designed and boasts elegant and lavish interiors and furnishings, set out over four levels there is a huge sense of space perfect for a large family get together. Villa Sacro Quore can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across five bedrooms while a further two can make use of the sofa bed by turning the second ground floor lounge into an extra bedroom. On the entrance level the accommodation comprises of a spacious living area, consisting of lounge and living/dining room with fireplace as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The two upper floors house three luxurious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, including a luxurious master bedroom which guests will be sure to fight over boasting a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with whirlpool tub. On the lower ground floor is a second living area with lounge, kitchen and sitting room with fireplace, two further bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The outside space is just as attractive and beautifully looked after, the villa is surrounded by large terraces while the portico complete with kitchen, barbecue and dining facilities is the perfect spot for those wishing to dine al fresco while in sunny Sicily! The large private pool is fantastic for the whole family to enjoy a dip while soaking up the tranquil surroundings.
The villa is located on the outskirts of the medieval town of Modica; here there is plenty to see with its rich local culture, striking church of San Giorgio and endless picturesque streets to explore. Following the famous earthquake and floods of 1693 Modica was divided into two parts and remains today as Modica Alta (upper) and Modica Bassa (lower), which are connected by long flights of stairs, this quirky layout alone makes it well worth a visit! While the villa is just a few kilometres from the charming towns of the Val di Noto, the wonderful beaches of Donnalucata, Sampieri and Marina di Ragusa are all just a short car journey away. Comiso Airport is conveniently located just forty-minutes away.
