In an idyllic location within an impressive pine forest and enjoying direct access to the beach at Cala Llenya, Villa Llenya is a peaceful holiday home that’s part of the exclusive La Joya urbanisation.
With a cool white and green colour scheme that reflects its leafy surroundings, this villa is a refreshing escape within an area of natural tranquillity. Large windows and patio doors opening onto attractive terraces are found throughout the villa, beautifully blending indoor and outdoor spaces.
Villa Llenya’s spacious accommodation is set over two floors. On the ground floor is a large living room that’s split into two open plan areas. The main space features two very comfortable sofas that sit in front of large patio doors, making the most of the views. A step up takes you to an area with a further two sofas and a lovely fireplace, making it a cosy space for reading or chatting. The dining table and chairs are positioned to take advantage of the two sets of doors that offer access to outside spaces. A fully-fitted kitchen features a small table for having a quick coffee or breakfast in the mornings, as well as a generously sized fridge freezer and a laundry room for extra convenience. Also on this floor are two relaxing bedrooms with two single beds each, an en-suite bathroom and private terrace.
To the first floor are two further bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other features two single beds, with both having an en-suite bathroom and private terrace.
Extending the interior living and dining spaces are outdoor areas on partially-covered terraces. Relax on the wicker sofas and chairs while enjoying a pre-dinner drink and the views across the garden. A charming wood dining table seats up to eight people, with a built-in barbecue making al fresco meals quick and easy. Within the fenced garden is a large, private swimming pool that’s surrounded by a sun terrace, loungers and outdoor furniture for relaxing or socialising. There’s also a chill out bed with pine forest directly behind. Not far away is private and direct access to a small, rocky beach.Being part of the La Joya development, Villa Llenya is just minutes away from shops, restaurants and basic amenities. Just 50 m away from the villa is a small, rocky beach that you can access directly from the garden.
The beach of Cala Llenya is just a 10-minute walk from the villa. With its white sands, pine tree backdrop and quiet feel, it’s a beautiful and family-friendly place to enjoy a day out. Take a picnic and find a sheltered spot amongst the trees for a leisurely lunch – or get food from the restaurant and beach bar. You can hire pedalos for enjoying the calm, clear waters and for soaking up views of the area. There are plenty of beautiful walks to take in the surrounding woodlands and countryside.
Santa Eulalia is a picturesque town around a 15-minute drive south of the villa. A popular town and resort with families, there’s something to suit everyone’s interests. The shopaholic will be pleased to hear that there’s an excellent range of designer boutiques and shops selling quality gifts and souvenirs. For history lovers, there’s a beautiful whitewashed church that sits on a hillside overlooking the main town. Puig de Missa dated back to the 16th century but suffered much damage from pirate attacks at the time, so now features heavy restorations from later centuries. The views from the church over the town and beyond are not to be missed.
For enjoying an afternoon by the sea, head to the stretch of beach that’s right in the heart of town. A range of watersports is on offer here, as are sun loungers and fine sands for the less adventurous.
