Villa Aslan holds a fantastic location within popular Kalamar Bay, in easy reaching distance of a wide variety of excellent restaurants, amenities and attractions. The villa is set in a relaxed location with breath-taking mountain and sea views over Kalamar Bay and is only a short stroll from the turquoise sea as well as being within walking distance of charming Kalkan town with its eclectic mix of Greek and Turkish architecture.
The stunning villa features contemporary interiors and elegant furnishings throughout, comfortably sleeping up to ten guests across its five beautifully appointed bedrooms set across the three levels. On the ground floor is the impressive, open-plan living accommodation which boasts access to the pool terrace and comprises of a lounge and dining area as well as a fully-equipped kitchen. Also on this level is the first of the bedrooms, a double room complete with en-suite shower room. Upstairs on the first floor are a further three double bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities and balconies boasting wonderful mountain and sea views. On the second floor, is the fifth and final bedroom, a twin room, again with en-suite facilities. Also on this level is a fabulous roof terrace with magnificent views over Kalamar Bay, the perfect setting for a relaxing drink after action-packed days spent exploring Kalkan.
Outside, the whole group will enjoy splashing around in the private pool under the Turkish sunshine, alternatively, choose to relax on the one of the sun loungers with a good book. Heaven! There is an excellent dining area under a covered pergola, the ideal setting for enjoying delicious meals al fresco.Villa Aslan is set in a peaceful spot overlooking beautiful Kalamar Bay on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. It’s slightly west of the old fishing town of Kalkan and has the majestic pine tree-lined Taurus Mountains to one side. The bay boasts the Kalamar Beach Club, a popular place to swim in the crystal-clear turquoise waters or participate in water sports like kayaking, scuba diving or jet skiing.
There are a handful of restaurants, small supermarkets within a short walk, and a 20-minute walk gets you to Kalkan centre with an exquisite harbour dotted with Turkish wooden gulets (boats). The cobbled old town boasts waterfront and rooftop restaurants, chilled bars, and beautiful historic buildings extending back from the sea. Wander the streets with houses draped in brightly coloured bougainvillaea flowers and there are an array of shops offering all sorts of ware. There are also plenty of swimming beaches in Kalkan and Turkish Baths for a relaxing end-of-day massage.
To immerse yourself in the rich history of this charming part of Turkey, you can visit the Church turned mosque by Kalkan’s harbour. Venturing to further afield, there are a host of Lycian sites, or you can take a daily boat trip, with a delicious lunch to visit various stunning bays and swim stops. From nearby Kas you can get a boat to the small island of Kekova where you can snorkel and explore the part sunken ruins of Dolchiste, an ancient town which was destroyed by an earthquake during the 2nd century known as the sunken city.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
