This vibrant villa, sleeping 6, is in Kalkan, a thriving holiday destination in Turkey! Whether you’re spending a lot of time at the villa, or exploring all that Kalkan has to offer, Villa Beren’s intentions are simple, it hopes to offer you a relaxing and comfortable holiday home for the duration of your stay.
The bright living room has comfortable couches around a television, offering a great location for relaxing during the evening! It is flooded with natural light as there are large floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that lead directly onto the pool terrace. This room is an open plan floor, combining the living room with the kitchen and dining space.
The kitchen is a modern design, with all the necessary appliances to ensure cooking is easy. Whilst you’re in the kitchen, you’re looking out over the living room and dining space, so you don’t have to be alone. The formal dining table is set for six people, but the ground floor has direct access to the pool floor where you’ll find an outdoor table, perfect for alfresco dining.
There are three bedrooms available on the first floor, two of which have access onto balconies where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink with spectacular views. Two rooms have a double bed, and the third room has two singles, perfect for a family or smaller group. These bedrooms are all similar in design, with storage for your belongings and en-suite bathrooms. Additionally, they’re all air-conditioned to help ensure a restful night’s sleep.
When you exit onto the pool terrace, there is an outdoor dining table as well as sun loungers around your private pool. While you lounge in the sun and relax with your loved ones, you can enjoy the unbeatable views of the Taurus Mountains.Situated along the Turquoise Coast, Kalkan has plenty to offer visitors of all ages! It is a lively holiday destination that has been able to keep its landscapes unspoiled as they offer spectacular views and nature-filled walks, that bring guests back to Kalkan year after year. An example being the magnificent Taurus Mountains that you’ll be able to see from your villa. Beautiful walks and biking trails are available up this mountain, where you’ll find vineyards and the freshwater stream that provides beautiful trout.
The restaurants throughout Kalkan offer beautiful food as well as great experiences. With rooftop restaurants being popular, you’ll have spectacular views whilst you dine! There are a few cocktail places available, including Botanik Garden Bar which is popular for its cocktails and unique seating, including hammocks and treehouses.
The Turquoise Coast is known for its beautiful waters and beaches, and this stretch is no different. Along the harbour, you’ll find waterfront restaurants with beautiful seafood, traditional wooden gullets, plenty of modern boats and shops! Boat trips are available from Kalkan, offering various trips to nearby parts of the Turquoise Coast; you can see various beautiful coves and beaches, and swim in the crystal clear waters.
Some of Turkey’s finest beaches can be found around Kalkan! Including Kalkan pebbly beach, Kaptus beach with its deep waters and Patara beach! All three are beautiful but offer something different. Kalkan’s pebbly beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness!
Patara is an important site for loggerhead turtles as they lay their eggs here, so for a small fee, you can access this beautiful beach. It’s also minutes away from Patara Ruins so you can make a day out of your journey.  Various water sports are available at different beaches, including snorkelling!
There are several ruin sites around Kalkan, evidence of ancient Lycia, including Xanthos, Patara and Letoon, to name a few. Some of the sites have a small entrance fee, whereas others don’t, but they all offer a walk through history as you explore the ruins of this ancient civilisation.
