Villa Emre is a beautiful and polished home which boasts vistas that are simply fantastic. This home is ideal for those seeking a luxurious retreat to completely unwind and to forget the stresses of daily life. This home epitomises peace and quiet but is close to the centre of Kalkan town, a quaint fishing village that possesses an array of charming cafes and restaurants for you to try.
Equipped with an infinity-edged swimming pool, it’ll be easy to spend most days simply swimming under the sunshine before enjoying a spot of lunch under the vivid blues skies. A lovely exterior dining area for up to six people provides mesmerising views over the island and sea. Here, you can devour meals under the starry night sky.
Inside, the design is simple yet stylish with a beautiful modern aesthetic used throughout. In the kitchen, you will find many appliances including a sizeable fridge-freezer, oven and microwave, so if you fancy cooking it’ll be a breeze. In the living area, comfy grey sofas are enhanced by cushions the colour of the sea; deep turquoise and sit around a stylish flat screen which is great for evenings in.
There are two bedrooms located on the first floor and the elegant master suite lies on the second floor. All bedrooms benefit from a tranquil neutral colour palette and plenty of natural light.

Villa Alix are identical semi-detached villas, and for this reason the home layout may slightly vary in design since only the pictures of one villa have been portrayed. Kalkan town is just a twenty-minute stroll away and provides a wonderful day trip in an authentic Turkish town, steeped in history and full of an intriguing character.
The fishing village used to be known as Kalamaki and was the only safe harbour between Kas and Fethiye before being taken up by Greek and Turkish settlers around 200 years ago. From this town, wine, grains, cotton and timber were transported to places within the Ottoman Empire.
During the 20th century, the village began to expand and opened numerous restaurants and tailors as well as presenting the first local elections and opening up an elementary school.
With the mystical Taurus Mountains in the background, simply strolling around the town is a fulfilling experience. The quaint stone streets are lined with tasty eateries, small boutiques and charming stores waiting to be explored. Untouched by flocks of tourists, the town has retained its traditional aesthetic, making a trip here feel as if you’ve stepped back in time.
Those with an eye for design will love the town’s Ottoman Greek architecture which is a nod to its Greek roots and attractive whitewashed buildings.
