Villa Meryem is a spacious villa located in the prestigious Azure Heights development, in Kalkan. It was completed in 2019 and is the ideal villa for larger families and groups. It has picturesque views of the sea and Taurus Mountains from the balconies and the terrace.
The ground floor has a large L-shaped open plan kitchen, dining and living area. It has contemporary marble style flooring throughout, and this black and white colour scheme is continued into the modern kitchen and dining space. The kitchen has been fully fitted with the necessary appliances to ensure an easy time.
The living space has comfortable sofas around a television, perfect for enjoying a conversation into the evening or making use of the entertainment offered during your downtime. The whole space is naturally lit thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors that give direct access to the pool and sun loungers.
There is a double bedroom on the ground floor, and it is completed with storage and an en-suite shower room. It also has direct access onto a patio with a small garden area. From here you can enjoy partial sea views. These rooms are all similar in style, offering you a minimalist but comfortable space to call your own for the duration of your break.
On the first floor, there are three more bedrooms. Two rooms have king-size beds and one has a twin bed set up. Similarly, to the ground floor room, each room has an en-suite shower room and access to balconies. From the balcony, you can enjoy beautiful sea views.
The second floor is solely occupied by the master bedroom suite. It has a king-sized bed, en-suite shower room and a large terrace. From here you have panoramic views of the mountains and sea. Each bedroom has air conditioning to help combat the heat and promote a comfortable and restful night.
Outside, the large terrace has a razed seating area with retractable gazebo and plenty of sunbeds so you can relax in the sun or shade. Additionally, there is an outside dining area along the side of the villa so you can enjoy meals alfresco. The villa has an infinity pool complete with a shallow end and a jacuzzi section. This outside space has beautiful views of the sea and the mountains, so you can bask in the sun and enjoy the natural beauty offered by the surrounding area.

There are also a few popular cocktail bars that you can experience! Botanik is a popular laid-back location for cocktails, it even offers quirky seating arrangements like hammocks and even treehouses.
As Kalkan is along the Turquoise Coast, you’ll find the harbour is lined with boats and tour options that will take you to some of the most beautiful spots – these trips can range from a couple of hours to a whole day adventure that can be enjoyed by everyone. They’ll take you to beautiful coves, you’ll have the chance to swim in crystal clear water, and you may even see some turtles!
There are several fine beaches in Kalkan and a short trip away, some have entrance fees whilst others are free beaches. Kalamar Beach Club is one of those with an entrance fee, but it is a beautiful beach with places to eat so you can make a fun day at the beach from it.
Patara beach is one of Turkey’s famous beaches and is a 20-minute drive from Kalkan. It’s a long stretch of sand with few sun loungers and in the evening is protected and closed as it is an important site to the turtles that lay their eggs there.
