Enclosed by magnificent ancient walls and hidden in the quietness of the olive groves and Sagrantino vineyards in the heartland of Umbria lies the tiny medieval village of Torre Del Colle. Its proximity and ease of access to Bevagna, Assisi, Spello, Montefalco and Spoleto makes it an ideal base for taking in the the artistry and culture of these beautiful towns.

The atmosphere here is both refined and unique, but still maintains a simple elegance. Two buildings in the village have currently been restored – the emporium (the village’s small general store) and the school, rooms in which are which are now available to rent for those who have a hankering for the tranquil life – and a taste for the truly classical.
The building’s restoration has been carried out with the utmost respect to the village’s original history and character – such as the themed rooms! In the old school, this sprit has really been maintained: you can sleep in the biology classroom, in the art room, in the gym, or experiment in the physics lab!

At the entrance of the village you’ll find Serpillo, Giulia and Daniele’s restaurant, where you’ll discover the warm hospitality of the young team and excellent cuisine strongly rooted in the tradition of the region. Just outside the walls of the village, within sight of Assisi, you can enjoy an espresso in the typical Bar Tabacchi and take in the full glory of your surroundings. You’ll sink back into your chair as you realise this really is relaxing in style – the Italian way.
