Stepping outside into the garden there is a large panoramic terrace where you’ll find the swimming pool, as well and a solarium complete with fountain and gazebo.
The peaceful surrounding countryside is rich in wildlife, the surrounding towns a veritable treasure trove of artistic and historical attractions, and as you might expect with any trip to Umbria you’ll find a fabulous choice of local food and wine on offer wherever you end up.The villa is positioned within the region of Umbria, close to the border with Lazio.
Within around 10 km of the peaceful banks of Lago di Corbara.
The medieval town of Orvieto is under 20 km away and accommodates many remarkably beautiful historic attractions including the stunning gothic Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.
Around 30 km in the other direction takes you to the ancient town of Todi, first mentioned in 1300 BC in Roman mythology as a town built by Hercules on the sight where he slayed the fire-breathing giant Cacus. Today you can visit many grand medieval Palazzo, and visit one of the oldest communal spaces in Italy, the Piazza del Popolo, a Lombard-Gothic construction that existed in the 11th century and is often used today as a movie set.
