Rent Fleur Sauvage France
Holiday Home Rental Description
This brand new villa offers contemporary style and ample space surrounded by the authentic landscapes of the Côte d’Azur hinterland. Relax beside the salt-water swimming pool, drink chilled rosé on the upper terrace and explore picture-perfect perched villages close by. All of this yet you are only 32km from the allure of Cannes and the French Riviera.
Kick back in the stylish lounge with Smart TV and large windows sliding open to the decked poolside terrace and large garden. The kitchen is fully-equipped to prepare delicious meals to be enjoyed in the open-plan dining area or outside al-fresco in the shade of the impressive outdoor dining and lounge area.
Follow the striking staircase upstairs for four modern bedrooms sleeping up to six guests and an extra two children. There are three attractive doubles, one with an en suite, alongside a children’s bedroom with a bunk-bed, plus a separate bathroom.
Outside, the grounds are wonderful with a great sense of space alongside the large swimming pool (which can be heated on request), relaxation terraces and verdant garden. We love how the architect-designed abode complements its natural surroundings.
Situated on a country road, it’s just a 3km drive to the nearest village, a picturesque spot overlooking the Siagne valley below. Wander around the old quarter admiring medieval houses, shady squares and fountains. There is a handful of places to eat as well as a little Saturday morning market, a supermarket and other amenities. Find the time to visit the incredible caves just outside the village.
Other perched villages nearby include Montauroux, Callian and Mons, said to be one of the highest villages in the Var, alongside Fayence with its colourful twice-weekly market and the perfume studios of Grasse. As you explore, pass magnificent landscapes of oaks, pines, olive trees and cypresses with spectacular vistas all around you.
Wind your way down towards the coast, perhaps passing gastronomic Mougins, a flower-filled village so loved by Picasso, before reaching the French Riviera. Experience the allure of Cannes, the chic beachside restaurants of Juan-les-Pins and the charm of Antibes before venturing back to the heart of the hinterland.

Fleur Sauvage is in the Alpes-Maritime department of southern France, close to the Var border, a great location for visiting the natural landscapes and perched villages of the Côte d’Azur hinterland. Grasse is just over a 20-minute drive away whilst Cannes and its famous beaches are 32km by car.
Situated on a country road, it’s around 3km to reach the historic heart of the local village which overlooks the Siagne valley. The medieval centre is enchanting with beautiful houses, pretty little squares and fountains alongside a small handful of café and restaurant terraces. A reasonably sized supermarket can be found in the village as well as a pharmacy and other useful amenities. Look out for a little market taking place on a Saturday morning.
Just outside the village are the caves where you can tour the illuminated stalagmites and stalactites, an absolutely wonderful experience. The area also offers hiking opportunities, horse-riding and river swimming spots. Head to Lac de Saint-Cassien (19km) for a variety of outdoor activities from lakeside walks and picnics to mountain biking, canyoning and seasonal water-based activities.
Across the Var and Alpes-Maritime, idyllic perched villages include Montauroux (15km), Callian (15km) and Cabris (15km), each one with their own historic beauty, some with charming restaurants (and Montauroux hosts a delightful market), all reached via winding roads passing magnificent landscapes of the region. The remote village of Mons (17km) is especially characterful, one of the highest villages in the area with stunning surroundings – you may even be able to see as far as Corsica on a clear day!
Fayence (22km) is loved for its café terraces and colourful twice-weekly market (also look out for brocantes taking place). The historic town of Grasse (20km) is another gem of the Côte d’Azur hinterland with its daily flower market, cathedral and inviting restaurants, not to mention the perfume museum and studios.
Follow the footsteps of Picasso in flower-filled Mougins (26km), known for its gastronomy, before reaching the glamour of Cannes (32km) with its boutiques, high-end restaurants, authentic markets, glitzy marina and beaches. The old town of Antibes (39km) is full of historic charm and there are some superb coastal hiking routes along Cap d’Antibes.
