Rent Villa Dei Saraceni Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
Perched spectacularly atop one of Capri’s most famous cliffsides, Villa Dei Saraceni is a 4-bedroom villa accommodating up to 8 guests in opulent interiors and breathtaking surrounds. Stepping through a rustic and unassuming gate, guests descend to the expansive terrace which juts out from the cliffside like a promontory and are greeted by the stunning allure of Villa Dei Saraceni, a tranquil haven bathed in unbeatable views of the famed Faraglioni – three oceanic rock formations spurring from the sea. Upon entering the villa from the terrace, guests find themselves in a sumptuous living room boasting panoramic windows and two balconies for unparalleled views over this sought-after stretch of the Capri coastline. Furnished with turquoise sofas that mirror the crystal-clear waters below the living room’s domed ceiling and tasteful sea-inspired décor create a singular atmosphere akin to a luxury lighthouse. An interconnected dining space (with setting for 4) completes the room. Passing into the rear of the villa reveals a fully equipped kitchen where culinary enthusiasts can try their hand at Caprese cooking, or perhaps you simply want to toss together a quick salad or make that morning coffee to take out to the terrace. In this section of the property guests will also find two thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each a sanctuary of comfort and style. The main suite is flooded with natural light and exudes warmth and sophistication. Featuring a plush king-sized bed adorned with crisp linens, and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, the room’s large windows invite the gentle breeze and offer spectacular sea views. The second bedroom, found at the other end of the hall, boasts a queen-sized bed, access to the guest bathroom and shower, and boasts a private entrance onto the terrace. There are two further bedrooms with separate access from the terrace. Both rooms feature double-beds, storage space, and ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers. The expansive terrace is, of course, a highlight of Villa Dei Saraceni which blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor living. Here, guests can savour al fresco meals amidst the Mediterranean breeze, or simply lounge under the azure sky, soaking in the serenity of the surroundings. The villa’s thoughtful amenities extend beyond the bedrooms and living spaces. Modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV ensure that guests stay connected and entertained throughout their stay. Immerse yourself in the allure of Capri from the comfort of Villa Dei Saraceni, where each corner tells a story of relaxation and scenic bliss.

Villa Dei Saraceni is ideally situated on one of Capri’s most famous cliffsides, soaring above the Tyrrhenian Sea and overlooking the world-famous Faraglioni – three oceanic rock formations spurring from the sea. The first, still connected to Capri, is known as Stella, the second and separated by a small stretch of sea is called Faraglioni di Mezzo, and the third, Faraglioni di Fuori or Scopolo. A short walk from the villa brings guests to the Torre Saracena Beach Club, where they can find the fantastic and authentic Torre Saracena restaurant serving Caprese cuisine by the sparkling sea. Situated on a corner of white pebbles hidden in the bay of Marina Piccola, this quiet refuge boats a number of sun loungers, cabanas, changing rooms, and the secluded blue water that defines a quintessential Capri experience. Overlooking the beach are the Gardens of Augustus – a fantastically flowery perch from which to view the Faraglioni rock formations. Here guests can also find a pier from which boating trips can be easily organised. This is perhaps the best way of exploring the island of Capri, by stepping off the island itself and circumnavigating its coastline of caves, coves, and inlets by renting a canoe, kayak, stand-up paddle board, or boat. Via this medium you’ll be able to discover a great many spots that would be difficult to reach otherwise (and thereby less crowded!). A short drive or moderate walk (18-minutes) from the villa brings guests to Capri’s iconic main square – the Piazzetta. From here you can continue all via Vittorio Emanuele toward the Grand Hotel Quisisana and via Camerelle – a street renowned for its high-end boutiques. If you prefer to keep your feet dry, Capri’s stunning elevated vistas make it a hiker’s paradise. The Passetiello is a wonderful circular route that starts in Anacapri and traverses through woods, and past famous villas such as San Michele and Scala Fenicia on its way up to the summit of Monte Solaro. Another hiking trail worth checking out takes you around the island’s ancient defences, along 19th century walkways and to the Punta Carena lighthouse. Of course, if hiking isn’t your fancy, you can always take the chairlift from the main square of Anacapri to the summit of Monte Solaro. Capri’s heritage is hard to ignore, and thanks to its intrigue and beauty, you won’t want to. An hour’s uphill climb from the centre of Capri town along the slopes of Mount Tiberius will bring you to the remains of Villa Jovis – the Capri residence of Roman Emperor Tiberius.
