Rent Villa Brejinho Portugal
Holiday Home Rental Description
Nestled amidst the lush, cork-oak forests of Comporta, this superb modern villa offers an idyllic setting, inviting you to spend a relaxing break with family and friends.
Sitting on an expansive plot, Villa Brenjinho is exceptionally designed, combining new technology and natural materials to fit seamlessly into the natural setting. Constructed beneath the tree line, the low-lying property has been efficiently arranged across a single level. Bright and spacious rooms flow seamlessly together, whilst extensive openings frame views over the surroundings, allowing the interior to spill out onto the terrace. A smart timber facade mimics the surrounding woodland, whilst the interior has been finished with sleek modern materials—a polished concrete floor runs throughout, complemented by white walls that accentuate the sense of space. The rooms are decorated with stylish furniture and contemporary fittings, whilst characterful objects and statement lighting add a pop of colour.
A central living space occupies an impressive double-height room, with a second seating area arranged on the mezzanine above. Several sofas offer the perfect place to sit and look out to the grounds, and to the back of the room, a sleek wood burner is ideal for the cooler months. A contemporary kitchen can be found in the neighbouring room, with polished concrete walls and exposed storage that creates a semi-industrial feel. Plenty of equipment invites you to prepare meals throughout your stay, and sliding doors open out to the veranda, making it easy to enjoy alfresco dining.
From the shared living areas, a long corridor extends the length of the villa, giving access to four lovely bedrooms. All the rooms are beautifully presented with the same minimal aesthetic, whilst each enjoys direct access outside so guests can leave the doors open at night and wake to the soft morning light. The master bedroom can be found at the far end, where a luxurious ensuite features a bathtub as well as a large walk-in shower, which can be opened onto the terrace.
The veranda stretches along either side of the villa, whilst timber screens create more intimate spaces in front of each room, offering guests an extra bit of privacy. The central terrace area is decorated with potted plants, whilst chic sofas and armchairs create the perfect spot to sit and soak up the tranquil surroundings. Spend the afternoon reading beneath the shade of the trees, or make the most of the warm evenings and gather together to share a drink under the stars. Timber walkways lead off into the sprawling woodland, inviting guests to explore the surroundings, and you can also make use of a wonderful infinity pool shared between the three properties that sit within the same plot. Nestled beneath the trees, why not enjoy a morning swim or cool off in the afternoons before reclining on a nearby sun lounger and soaking up the serene backdrop?

Stretching for miles along the coast, long golden sands offer the perfect place to enjoy sunny afternoons, strolling along the water’s edge or enjoying a dip in the clear blue sea. Just 6km from the villa, Praia do Pego is an idyllic setting, and there are a handful of restaurants to the back of the sand where you can enjoy a bite to eat or relax with a beer to watch the sunset at the end of the day. To the north, Praia do Carvalhal is a popular spot for surfing, where you can hire a board from one of the local shops or opt to take a lesson. Bordered by dunes and rice paddies, the beach offers a lovely natural setting, completely integrated into the surrounding landscape with multiple species of wildflowers and birds.
Further to the north, Comporta Village is worth visiting, with a handful of delightful boutiques selling artisans wares and fresh produce. Whilst the area is still little known, there are a number of trendy restaurants and bars where you can sample local cuisine and enjoy entertaining evenings. Located in the heart of the village, Gomes Casa de Vinhos & Petiscos is a charming family-run affair serving up a menu of tasty ‘petiscos’ (Portuguese-style tapas) alongside a fantastic selection of wine, whilst in Quinta da Comporta, Mar d’Arrozal is a lovely farm-to-table restaurant run by Chef João Sousa.
Located less than an hour away, Lisbon makes a wonderful day out with its historic network of cobblestone streets and lively culture. Discover the historical buildings and colourful facades, admiring the ornate windows and beautiful painted tiles. Built across a series of hills, many of the neighbourhoods rise to open terraces, where you can sit beneath the trees and admire views across the city. Sit sipping on an aperitif, or wander down to the harbour to stroll along the waterfront. The city is bursting with things to see and do, from art galleries and museums to tiny workshops and artisanal boutiques. Visit the bars and restaurants to enjoy fine wine and wonderful food, and be sure to stop at a bakery to savour the traditional Pasteis de Nata.
