Casa Del Campo is a stunning home recently renovated to the highest standards. You will find only the finest materials, chic bathrooms, and comfortable, contemporary furnishings throughout the home. As well as being attractive, the home is practical and offers all the space and facilities you need when travelling in a larger group. The home has Wi-Fi and air conditioning, Smart TVs and top-quality bathrooms. The villa is set over two floors; on the ground floor, you will find the social areas, including the sitting room as you enter the home and a large living room. There is also a lovely, modern kitchen with everything you could need to prepare meals and drinks in the vast dining room next door or out in the garden. There are ten bedrooms on the two floors. On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms, and on the first floor, there are seven. Each room is tastefully decorated and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath or shower. Guests can decide whether they would prefer two twin beds or a double bed in each room. If you need extra sleeping space, there is an additional twin room in the attic, which can be accessed via another room, and sofa beds in some of the larger bedrooms, which means 26 guests can stay at the home together. This is fantastic for a trip with the extended family or a large group of friends. Outside, the home has a garden which stretches over 4000m2. From the garden, you can gaze out over the hills and the nearby mountain peaks and enjoy the surroundings. The grounds have sweeping lawns, towering trees and flower beds, numerous balconies and covered dining terraces. If you want to try making pizza, you could do this outdoors with the wood-fired pizza oven. When you want to cool down on a warm day, you can dip in the private swimming pool with wraparound views. Though the home is enveloped by countryside and parkland, you can easily reach the historic village of Monteu Roero as it is only 4km away. There are also many larger towns which you can drive to, such as Alba (18km away) and Asti (34km away), while the lively city of Turin is also well worth a visit at 45km away. If you prefer to spend your time out in nature, you will be spoilt for choice here in Piedmont as there are endless walking routes and cycling trails nearby, plus tennis courts, golf courses, hot air balloon rides and horse-riding centres within driving distance. Nestled in a patchwork of vineyards, olive groves and pastureland, Casa Del Campo is ideally placed for a holiday immersed in Northern Italy’s natural landscape. The villa is located in the Roero area, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List for the past decade due to its beautiful surroundings and prized local cuisine. If you are looking for a holiday destination offering outdoor pursuits and access to some incredible cities, Piedmont is the place for you. On your doorstep, you will have countless opportunities to get out and discover the breathtaking, verdant surroundings. You can easily reach walking and cycling routes, or you may prefer to tackle some of the nearby Alpine peaks. If this all sounds taxing, why not book a hot air balloon tour to enjoy the views whilst relaxing. On top of being known for the undulating countryside, Piedmont is also famed for its food and wine. Fresh fruits and vegetables, world-class wines and truffles fill markets and tables here so that you can enjoy some great meals during your stay. If you would like to learn more about some of these local products, you could visit a winery such as Battaglio, which is 12km away, to sample the wines and take a guided tour of the grounds. Alternatively, you could book on to a truffle hunt, which is a brilliant activity to do as a group. The closest village to the home is Monteu Roero, a mere 4km away. This little hilltop village has been here since the 10th century and boasts a castle once stayed in by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. There are also ancient churches, wooded walking routes, a selection of restaurants and a staggering rock formation, which you can hike up to, known as the Rocche. When you wish to do a spot of shopping, you can head into the larger town of Alba, which is 18km away by car. Alba is a gorgeous city packed with historical attractions such as the unique, red-coloured cathedral and the Church of San Giovanni Battista, packed with 14th-century artwork. You can see everything from Pre-historic and Roman finds to Medieval art at the Federico Eusebio Museum, too. While Alba has an atmospheric old town, it is better known as a hub for foodies who flock here to take part in the many food festivals, sample the local delicacies such as polenta and rabbit, and, of course, visit the factory where Nutella and Ferrero Rocher are produced! Further afield, you can spend the day in the famous wine town of Asti, 34km away or visit the city of Turin, 45km away.
