Villa Acqualagna is the perfect choice for those wishing for a peaceful holiday within the Italian countryside. From your base at this historic farmhouse, you can access charming villages and open countryside, while also taking day trips to the coast and to bustling cities. The villa is set over two floors and lies on a quiet hillside overlooking the valley and rolling fields of Le Marche. The home is a pretty, stone house with traditional shuttered windows, while the interiors boast historic fireplaces, ceiling beams and exposed stone work. All efforts have been made by the owners to preserve the authentic feel of the home, though it has also been modernised with the addition of TVs, air conditioning and WI-FI.
On the ground floor, you have plenty of space to gather together as there are two living rooms on offer. The first is a large room with two sofas, a feature fireplace and a TV. In the next room there is a double-space living area with two seating areas, each gathered around a fireplace.
The kitchen here is a lovely, long room with a dining table at its centre and all of the appliances you need for making delicious meals for your loved ones. Though you can also opt to cook and dine al-fresco. A bathroom and a laundry area complete the ground floor.
Upstairs, there are three lovely bedrooms you can choose from when you wish to get a restful nights sleep, interrupted by nothing but the sounds of nature outside. The rooms are made up of a bedroom with bunk beds and two bedrooms with double beds. These rooms all have access to two shower rooms. With such a wonderful climate, you are sure to want to spend much of time outdoors and the garden here ideal for this. With a stunning covered dining terrace overlooking a lawned garden, there is plenty of space for relaxing outside. The garden even boasts a brick barbecue area where you can make pizzas in the wood burning oven. On hot days you can cool down in the inviting pool.
The main attraction in the area surrounding the home is the open countryside and wonderful farmland where you can visit farm restaurants and go on food and wine tours. Foodies will love spending their holiday here! Local towns and villages are also in abundance a short drive away, for example you can visit Acqualagna which is 8km away or drive further out to the enchanting city of Urbino which is 25km away
