The villa sits in a leafy residential area next to the sea and boasts sea views from all around the home and garden. The accommodation here is set over two floors; as you enter on the ground floor, you will find yourself in a vast living and dining space where guests can gather on the comfy sofas or dine in the formal dining area. This room winds around in to a fully-fitted kitchen which is beautifully designed and has all of the appliances and gadgets you could require for preparing meals for your family and friends.
Head up the stairs to discover four well-appointed bedrooms which are calming spaces, flooded with natural light. There is one bedroom which can be laid out with two twin beds or a king-sized bed, while the other three bedrooms have a king-sized double bed as well as a sofa bed where your children could sleep close by. Whichever room you choose will have a Smart TV, a spacious en-suite bathroom and access to a terrace where you can enjoy your morning cup of tea in peace.
The outdoor space here is an extension of the home’s interior and has been carefully designed to offer sociable outside seating spaces, a covered dining area and a private swimming pool which is heated during cooler months. The garden is filled with greenery in the form of lawns, shrubbery and hedges for privacy. If you would like to take a dip in the clear, inviting sea, you can access a rocky beach via a private walkway from the villa.
If you would prefer a sandy beach with sun loungers and parasols, the closest is just 500m away! There are also exclusive beach clubs and small rocky coves within walking distance of the house. The bay where all of these beaches are found is also lined with restaurants, shops and bars, so you will have plenty of amenities close by.
The home is also ideally situated for taking day trips to other parts of Sicily such as the city of Syracuse which is 12km away and the beautiful town of Noto which is 31km away. Nature lovers can also get to know more of the landscape by visiting natural parks and protected areas such as the Plemmirio Nature Reserve, exploring by hiking the coastal paths or by hiring mountain bikes.

The villa is a mere walk away from the nearest sandy beach Spiaggia dell’Arenella plus there are a wealth of eateries and shops within easy reach. This is the perfect spot for those wishing to get away from it all and unwind in the sun.
If you are considering spending your holiday on Sicily’s South East coast, you are probably drawn to the area due to the incredible range of beaches. One of the most popular beaches in the town of Arenella is Spiaggia dell’Arenella which is just a short stroll away from the home. This beach has something for everyone as one end is a rocky beach while the other end has an expanse of golden sand. You can choose from free, natural areas and beach clubs with sun loungers to hire. For a quieter beach you could spend the day at Lido Le Nereidi Beach which is a brilliant, serviced beach club, few steps away from the villa. The Lido is a great choice for hot days as there are covered areas where you can enjoy food and drink with sea views. The restaurant here serves everything from breakfast to fresh local sea food and there are changing facilities on site. If you would prefer a serene beach, backed by walking routes and forest trails, why not pay a visit to the stunning Plemmirio Nature Reserve, a protected area of parkland which is 8km away.
In addition to spending time outdoors at the nearby beaches, you can also explore the local woodlands, parks and even inland caves on hikes and scenic walks. If this sounds a little too energetic, you could pay a visit to one of the vineyards in the area such as Cantine Gulino which is few kilometers away. Here you can tour the grounds, taste the wines and pick up a few bottles to take home for dinner. Another way to see more of this beautiful area is to take a boat trip from Arenella; you could take a trip around the south coast where you can stop off to swim in the sea and explore magical caves, or you could take a boat tour to Ortigia island.
Arenella is a great place to stay for those who love days at the beach, but it is also an ideal location for spending the day visiting the city of Syracuse which is 12km away. Syracuse is an incredible city which is steeped in history; this is an ancient city which is packed with historic attractions such as the popular Archaeological Park Neapolis where you can discover the vast cave known as the Ear of Dionysius and an amazing Greek theatre. Syracuse is filled with a wealth of artisan shops, markets and restaurants. You can get to know the city’s history by heading over the footbridge to the old town which is on Ortigia Island, this picturesque maze of streets is the perfect setting for a sunset dinner.
