Rent Villa Grotte Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
It’s all about alfresco living when you stay at the beautifully restored countryside view Villa Grotte, near the village of Castellano Grotte on the south coast of Italy. Villa Grotte is an original Trulli which stands in its own charming grounds, with paved terraces, meticulously manicured lawns, and your own private, free form swimming pool. This single-storey, detached three-bedroom villa, constructed from traditional local stone, and offers a serene escape for up to six guests, ideal for a family holiday, or a group of friends’ getaway.
Enter the villa to be welcomed by an open-plan living space with double doors that give access to the terrace and gardens. There is a seating area with two tub chairs, a flat-screen TV, and an open-hearth fireplace. The all-white kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you will need to cater for your stay, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, and that must-have morning coffee maker. The adjacent six-seater dining set with a matching sideboard is perfect for indoor entertaining. A separate WC with practical laundry facilities complements the living quarters.
Leading off from the living space are three simply furnished double bedrooms. The stone-walled, domed ceiling master bedroom has a double bed and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that look out onto the pool terrace. The second bedroom has a double bed, whilst the third bedroom features two twin beds. A well-appointed modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, hand basin, bidet, and WC serves all the guests.
Step outside, where you will discover an outdoor living space. The grounds are surrounded by stone walls, and are home to lush green lawns and paved terraces. The step-entry swimming pool, complete with a whirlpool and water jet waterfall shower, takes centre stage. The pool is surrounded by inviting sun loungers, soft seating, and a swing seat for relaxation. Cool down under not one, but two outdoor showers. Meet for cocktails as dusk falls at the plush soft seating set under a shady veranda. Feast alfresco at the six-seater dining set, with dishes prepared in the fully equipped summer kitchen, complete with a BBQ and pizza oven.
