Rent Villa Luola Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
Villa Luola has been carefully and elegantly designed, in order to offer the highest quality of accommodation to guests, who can spend their time here enjoying the peace and tranquillity of Puglia’s countryside, while being just 6km away from the centre of Ostuni.
Enclosed by ancient dry-stone walls and lush green gardens, you will discover three independent buildings which make up the home. All within a short stroll of each other, the three dwellings offer a total of six bedrooms. The main residence is the largest and has two spacious double bedrooms with contemporary en-suite bathrooms. This building also has a kitchen and bright and airy living space.
Just across from the main residence, there are two further dwellings next to each other; one with exposed stone work and doors on to the garden and containing two interconnecting double bedrooms. The final bedroom can be found within a gorgeous historic trullo with vaulted stone ceilings and a unique stone bathroom.
The calming colour palette, decorative items and comfortable furnishings all work together in harmony to create a relaxing place to stay, where you will feel truly at home with your friends or family.
From all over the villa, you can access the expansive, leafy grounds with ease. The garden is a wonderful, serene spot which spans 8000m2 and is perfect for outdoor living. While there is an indoor kitchen and dining space within Villa Luola, you are likely to cook and dine al-fresco most of the time due to the warm weather. The well-equipped summer kitchen has everything you need for cooking up delicious meals or preparing drinks to enjoy on the covered dining terrace. As you wander around the garden you will find lots of benches, tables and outside sofas where you can just sit and take in your surroundings. The garden also offers a private swimming pool and a heated, roof top jacuzzi. There is table football and table tennis to occupy the kids, while you enjoy a glass of wine.
Villa Luola enjoys a brilliant location as you have the countryside, towns and beaches all close by. From the home you are able to get to know all aspects of Puglia from tucked away hilltop villages to the lively beaches and trendy bars.
The closest amenities can be accessed by driving in to the beautiful city of Ostuni which is 6km away. This historic city has everything you could need and a wide selection of eateries to choose from when it is time for dinner, as well as museums and historic attractions. A smaller, yet equally charming town you could drive to is Ceglie Messapica which is 6km away or maybe you would like to spend the day visiting one of the area’s much-loved Trulli towns such as Alberobello which is 34km away.
If you are in need of a day of rest and relaxation, you can drive down to the coastline and find a spot on one of the sweeping, sandy beaches here. The closest beach is Spiaggia di Lamaforca, a beach with clear blue seas, soft sand and sun loungers for hire which is 16km away from the villa.

Villa Luola is an expansive home which can comfortably accommodate 12 guests, making it a fantastic choice for those wishing to get to know the charms and culture of Puglia, in Italy’s heel.
Whether you are drawn to Puglia for its picturesque towns and cities or you would like to spend your days hiking through the nearby hills and nature reserves, there is something here for everyone, not forgetting the delicious local cuisine! The home is set 17km inland, within a rural, olive-growing area which is sandwiched between the city of Ostuni and the town of Ceglie Messapica. This is a wonderful setting for exploring the vibrant streets of the towns as well as unwinding in the countryside.
Puglia is the perfect choice for nature-lovers who can traverse the landscape and trails on hikes, calming walks, by mountain bike or on horseback. A quiet, scenic area you can visit for the day is the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve which is 34km away by car. Here you can follow woodland walking routes and paths along the rugged coastline, plus swim and snorkel on pristine, wild beaches.
There are plenty more beaches on the coastline between Bari and Brindisi, ranging from serviced beach clubs to tiny swimming coves. The closest beach to the home is Spiaggia di Lamaforca which is 16km away by car, this is a sandy beach, off the usual tourist trails, so is a great spot for a day of rest and relaxation. The popular beaches of Torre Santa Sabina and Costa Merlata are each around 18km away and offer all of the facilities you would need for a full day at the beach nearby. In addition to having gorgeous beaches and atmospheric countryside close by, you also have numerous towns, cities and villages on your doorstep. The closest selection of amenities can be found in the staggering “white city” of Ostuni which is 6km away. Sitting on top of a hill and dazzling in the sun light, the white-washed buildings of Ostuni are a sight to behold. The winding streets of the city are packed with street side cafes, restaurants and artisan shops. The picture-postcard old town is the place to go for the most incredible views over the nearby hills and the sea. There are also many historic attractions to see in Ostuni such as the ornate Gothic and Byzantine cathedral, built in the 1600s and the Arco Scoppa bridge connecting the cathedral to the Bishop’s Palace. There are also art galleries and a selection of museums here such as the Civic Museum and the Archaeological Museum. To see a different side to the city, why not take a guided walking tour or book on to a Puglian cookery class. Another lovely place to visit is Ceglie Messapica, a town which is 6km away. Here you will find busy markets, traditional Italian restaurants and the imposing Ducal Castle. The town is a great place to explore as it is an authentic Puglian town and not a tourist hot spot.
