Oozing with rustic charm, Villa Trove sits in the heart of the Italian countryside overlooking the Val di Chiana, in glorious Tuscany. This beautiful two storey, detached property sits in its own grounds and manicured gardens, and is made up of a main house and an independent annexe. With a total of five bedrooms and six bathrooms, Villa Trove can comfortably accommodate up to fourteen guests, fabulous for a large family holiday, or great for a group of friends’ get together. There is a stunning private swimming pool, and long walks in the local valley to keep you fit for your stay. The exteriors are classic white stone, with external staircase features, whilst the interiors have retained the original cool stone floors, traditional wood beamed ceilings, and unique arched walls. The décor is decidedly country, simply furnished with comfortable sofas, handcrafted wood furniture, and whitewashed walls.
In the main house there is a large living space, with a sofa that converts to a bed for two guests, an impressive open hearth fireplace, and a dining set to seat all the family. The cottage style kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you will need to cater for your holiday, including an oven and hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave, and an informal dining set. The spacious Master Bedroom can be found on this floor, with a double bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. A guest cloakroom with a washing machine completes the ground floor. Take the stairs to the upper floor, which can also be accessed by an external staircase, where there are three simply-appointed large double bedrooms, all with ensuite shower rooms. There is also a studio style living space, with a kitchenette, comfy armchairs, an open fire, and a dining table.
Cross the lawn to the independent annexe, on the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a living space with a sofa bed for two guests, and a dining table. The upper floor is home to a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. A service room with a washing machine completes the accommodation.
Go out into the gorgeous grounds and gardens, where hidden behind a high hedge is a superb step-entry swimming pool. Feast alfresco at one of the wooden dining sets, with dishes freshly grilled on the barbeque, and raise a glass of local wine to the most memorable holiday.

Villa Trove can be found in the heart of the Italian countryside, in the charming village of Civitella, overlooking the Val di Chiana, in Tuscany. The nearest international airport near Florence is a scenic eighty kilometres from your holiday home. The villa sits on the edge of Chiana valley for long walks and cycle rides among the local flora and fauna. In the medieval village of Civitella you will find local stores stocked with provisions for your stay, welcoming bars and restaurants, a notable fortress, and a parish church.
Explore the cultural richness of nearby Arezzo, starting with Piazza Grande, home to the Cathedral and the Basilica of San Francesco, and Casa Vasari, a museum displaying Vasari’s work. Immerse yourself in history at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale Gaio Cilnio Mecenate and Casa Vasari. On the first Sunday, the Arezzo Antique Fair in Piazza Grande offers a unique experience. Tee off at the Arezzo Golf Club, or go for or hike or bike ride around the countryside.
