Rent Las Cascadas de Lomas Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
Situated on the hillside on the outskirts of the Sierra de las Nieves, this unique property offers a spectacular location, with a stunning modern interior and wonderful terrace where you can relax and enjoy the exclusive setting whilst admiring panoramic views out to the mountains and sea.
Sitting within an exclusive residential area, Las Cascadas de Lomas enjoys a tranquil position, set amongst the mountainous landscape whilst being just a short drive away from the more animated coastal towns. Recently built, the villa itself is well-presented with a chic, contemporary aesthetic. Arranged over several levels, the rooms are generously proportioned and enjoy plenty of natural light through several light wells and large openings that frame picturesque views over the surrounding area.
Upon entering, an impressive bifurcated staircase wraps around a central light well, rising above a shallow pool of water before splitting off into the villa’s two wings. To one side of the ground floor, an open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with sleek surfaces and modern appliances, and a stylish dining table has ample space for all. To the front of the room, bi-folding doors open out to the terrace, which can be left open to invite in a gentle breeze or step outside to enjoy alfresco dining and make the most of the marvellous views. An attractive living room sits on the other side of the ground floor, stylishly decorated with unique artwork and a large L-shaped sofa, and guests can relax in comfort whilst enjoying views over the surrounding landscape.
Outside, the terrace opens to the beautiful scenery, with panoramic views across the nearby mountains and the sea. A stunning infinity pool invites guests to enjoy a refreshing swim, whilst an intelligent timber decking features several sun loungers perfectly positioned for drying off beneath the warm Mediterranean sun. A bar area sits to the rear of the terrace, where guests can sip on homemade cocktails, make the most of the warm evenings, and recline in one of the lounge chairs to share a drink as the sun drops beyond the horizon.
There are six bedrooms, each impeccably presented with neutral tones complemented by polished timber floors and chic furnishings. On the upper floor, the main suite offers the ultimate luxury, with large sliding doors framing views of the mountains, which guests can enjoy without leaving the king-sized bed or stepping outside to find an arrangement of seating that offers the perfect spot to sit with a morning coffee and soak up the tranquil setting. A bathroom area to the rear of the room features double sinks and the option of a shower or bathtub where you can soak at the end of the day. Three further bedrooms are also located upstairs, each with its ensuite and one other benefits from its charming terrace. The other two bedrooms sit on the lower level with interconnecting access to a shared bathroom. Downstairs, guests can also enjoy a second living room, with an impressive home cinema perfect for evening entertainment, whilst a wet room and sauna invite you to spend a more serene afternoon.

Enjoy a gentle afternoon round, or head to the tennis courts for a competitive game before retiring to the clubhouse for a refreshing drink in the sun. The nearest beach is less than 15 15-minute drive, where the long golden sands of San Pedro Playa are a popular spot to spend the day. A palm promenade hugs the back of the beach, or you can enjoy a stroll along the water’s edge before taking a cooling dip in the clear blue sea. Several water sports centres offer activities and paddle hire or stop off at one of the beachside kiosks to enjoy a tasty ice cream.
The trendy Puerto Banus lies just along the coast, where grand yachts and sailboats arrive to enjoy the luxurious port. The waterfront is a hub of entertainment, with chic streets lined with galleries and exclusive boutiques, whilst restaurants and bars buzz throughout the day. Take a seat to enjoy the comings and goings, or head up to the exclusive Sky Lounge, where you can sip on a cocktail while enjoying beautiful views across the harbour and the mountains beyond. As well as its beaches, Marbella is brimming with culture, and you can discover the old town with its shaded squares and historic church. The Plaza de los Naranjos is the perfect place to stop for a drink, grab an ice cream from Mauro’s Heladeria and sit back to enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Just half an hour’s drive away from the glitz and glamour of the coast, Benahvis is a lovely mountain village with narrow winding streets of typical whitewashed houses. The charming settlement sits within a wonderful natural area covered by forests of cork and dropping down to the Guadalmina River. Numerous hiking trails offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Benhavis is also a fabulous place to try traditional Andalusian cuisine, and several restaurants are serving up classic dishes that celebrate the ingredients sourced from the surrounding area. Sitting in the square, Flor de Lis has a beautiful terrace and a menu that celebrates the region’s seafood with Galian flavours, whilst one of the village’s oldest restaurants, Los Faroles, is the place to try traditional specialities such as ‘ternera en salsa’, or pepper chicken.
