Rent Villa Hiedra Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
A unique, striking, and eclectic blend of rustic charm meets modern flair, Villa Hiedra provides the perfect starting point for a luxurious break beneath the Spanish sun on the lively Costa del Sol.
With loads of stylish entertaining areas inside and out, this home is ideal for larger groups of extended family and friends hoping to make the most of their time together, cooking, dining, or simply enjoying the sun beside the pool. We love the effortlessly chic styling of the villa and how it brings a certain distinctive Californian charm to this quintessentially Spanish stretch of coastline.
Inside its light-filled spaces, you will find a large ground-floor living area, which houses a modern feature fireplace surrounded by a sleek seating area that leads onto an understated dining area and a funky open-plan kitchen. The kitchen centres around a stunning central island made from elegant grey marble, the perfect spot for some family dinners.
There is an additional, more informal living space on the lower-ground floor – a room that, in contrast to those above, feels secluded because of its striking rough poured concrete feature walls and the high-shine polished concrete floor set off by some natural fabrics and textures. With comfortable seating, another laid-back dining area, and a gaming set-up, this part of the home serves as the perfect teenage hangout. The lower ground level also houses another double bed, bunk beds, and an additional pull-out bed, so we think it could work well as a shared kids’ room or for a family wanting to sleep together in one room.
You will find the main suite on the ground floor – making this a potential option for guests with mobility issues. Further inside and up the sweeping staircase, you’ll come to two more ensuite bedrooms – one which boasts its private balcony and workspace and the other with a sun-filled seating area overlooking the swimming pool that would serve as the perfect spot to indulge in a little quiet reading as the afternoon sunlight streams in.
Open the enormous floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and step straight out onto the terrace, where you will find a cosy covered seating and dining area, as well as a barbecue, hammock, hot tub, and that beautiful saltwater swimming pool, all set against a beguiling mountainous backdrop.

Aside from its striking aesthetic, the central location of this home is what sets it aside. Conveniently positioned just 100 metres away from the golden sands of Marbella’s magnificent beaches as well as being just a short walk away from the so-called ‘Golden Mile’ – one of the Costa del Sol’s premier luxury shopping and dining districts that is popular with the rich, famous, and fashionable – this gorgeous villa allows you to feel a part of the glamour that defines this stretch of coastline.
In the immediate area, you will find everything from designer boutiques to authentic waterside eateries serving the freshest local seafood in more laid-back surroundings. That means that this home could make a good choice for everyone, from groups of friends looking to make the most of the area’s exuberant (and often uber-fancy) nightlife or to families simply hoping to spend some quality time together soaking up the sun, getting out onto the water with a sailing trip, or exploring the weekly markets selling food, furniture, and everything in between. There are also supermarkets where you can pick up anything you might need during your stay – including some wonderfully fresh produce to bring back home and grill up on the barbecue in the garden – and loads of lovely restaurants for when you don’t fancy cooking.
Of course, there is also the world-renowned golfing that this area is known for, so golf enthusiasts will find themselves spoiled for choice without having to go too far to tee off. Along the coast, you will also find a variety of exhilarating water sports on offer for a range of ability levels, meaning you can get out onto the water and try your hand at something new.
