Chalet Jardin is located in the heart of Megève, a laidback, charming resort in the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area. Megève enjoys three main ski areas, offering 325km of pistes, usually open between December and April. The Telecabine de la Princesse ski lift provides direct access to the top of the majestic Mont d’Arbois, with ski runs in every direction. The ski area of Rochebrune is reached easily from the chalet as it leaves from the centre of Megève via the Telecabine du Chamois. The third ski area is Le Jaillet where you will find the links to the slopes of La Giettaz and Combloux and spectacular off-piste options. There is a great collection of well-established ski schools, and the resort caters for all abilities. As well as enjoying thrilling descents, there are many snow parks and cross-country ski trails. The summer hiker path in the Mont d’Arbois ski area offers fantastic views through the forests and down to Planellet.  The historic town centre of Megève offers effortless charm and character. It boasts a dreamy backdrop and sensational views of Mont Blanc. It is a great destination for those discerning ski groups who want to enjoy authenticity, fabulous food and a good variety of skiing. You can enjoy hearty lunches on sun-soaked terraces, cosy mountain bars and restaurants and lively après-ski venues. Guests can participate in wine tastings, head to dreamy spas or visit the town’s large sports complex with its outdoor pool open during summer months.

The beautiful Saint-Jean Baptiste Church is the oldest building, dating back to the 13th century. You will also find the Town Hall and the famous Aallard store, which opened its doors in 1926. The town hosts many events and is very special at Christmas time, the village tree goes up around 11 December. If you want to explore Megève in style, you can take a horse-drawn carriage ride and enjoy the rhythm of horseshoes on the cobbles.  Aerocime offers a unique experience with a short aerial tour of the Alps from 3km up in the air, flying over the Chamonix valley and exploring some of the bigger glaciers and mountains. The planes only take two to three passengers, but you could book two planes to fly in tandem.
