Located just a five-minute walk away from the picturesque village of Montriond, Chalet Theo is a traditional alpine property boasting seven bedrooms and a range of leisure facilities, including a jacuzzi and a sauna. With the lively town of Morzine and the spectacular terrain of the Portes du Soleil ski area within easy driving distance, the chalet is the perfect place to relax and unwind with your loved ones whilst soaking up the warm sunshine and the enchanting snowy scenery of the French Alps.
Begin each day with a freshly brewed cup of coffee on Chalet Theo’s sunny terrace, where you can enjoy the gentle alpine breeze as you soak up the views of the mountains in the distance. The peaceful garden offers plenty of space for family fun and games, with a pétanque court and a picnic table in the sun that provides a dreamlike spot to gather everyone together for a delicious dinner during the summer months. You can feel the day’s adventures melt away in the barrel sauna, also located in the garden, while the jacuzzi offers the ideal place to unwind under the stars after another invigorating day on the slopes of Avoriaz.
Inside the chalet, guests will find an open-plan living space boasting relaxed, understated décor and a warm and welcoming ambience. The lounge area features comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV and a cosy fireplace, inviting guests to curl up and relax after an afternoon spent enjoying the fresh mountain air. Everyone can come together to enjoy a home-cooked feast or a glass of wine in Chalet Theo’s charming dining area, while the fully equipped kitchen also provides access to a bright and airy breakfast room. A convenient ski storage room features a ski boot heater. There is also a family bathroom and a separate laundry room located on the ground floor. Meanwhile, a games room with table football provides the perfect excuse for a family tournament in the evening!
There are seven bedrooms in Chalet Theo. The ground floor offers a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a kids’ bedroom with bunk beds and a family bedroom for four with a double bed and bunk beds. On the main level of the chalet, where the living space is situated, guests will also find a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, there are three more double bedrooms offering well-appointed en-suite bathrooms. Each of the bedrooms features warm tones and homey décor, offering guests a warm and restful atmosphere in which to relax.

During peak seasons, a complimentary shuttle bus runs from the chalet to the Ardent cable car, providing access to the renowned Avoriaz ski area. Here, visitors will be delighted to find a variety of sunny slopes to suit all levels, where skiers and snowboarders can roam between Morzine, Châtel and Switzerland.
For novice skiers and young families, there are plenty of fantastic green and blue slopes around Avoriaz, where you can spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace. Later on, foodies will be thrilled to find a wide array of excellent French and Swiss restaurants dotted across the ski area. Enjoy a delicious and hearty lunch on a sun-soaked terrace after a morning spent skiing in the fresh mountain air.
The main ski lift to Les Lindarets is only a ten-minute drive away from Chalet Theo. During the winter months, the scenic village is at the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, offering a dazzling white playground for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. When summer arrives, Les Lindarets becomes a quaint alpine village where hundreds of goats roam the streets in place of winter sports enthusiasts! Take care driving or cycling here, but do make sure to visit to take in this incredibly unique sight, accompanied by the dreamlike sound of chiming bells.
Afterwards, visit the emerald waters of Lake Montriond, with its backdrop of immense cliffs and verdant woodlands. Enjoy a serene swim, an afternoon of water sports or a picnic in the sun here before cycling to the cascading waters of the Brochaux Waterfall. Les Lindarets is also home to fantastic local food producers, so you can pick up some delicious cheese on your way home to Chalet Theo!
During the ski season, each day brings a new adventure at the Morzine ski resort, offering easy access to Geneva and a vast array of pistes linked to other resorts throughout the Portes du Soleil ski area. For beginners, there are nursery slopes available in the village, while intermediate and advanced skiers alike can enjoy a variety of exciting blue and red runs. Morzine is also home to roughly 50km of cross-country trails.
After another day of adventure in the fresh air, Morzine offers a myriad of après-ski options for visitors to enjoy, ranging from cosy mountain inns to lively bars located in the heart of the town centre.
