| 6 Bedrooms|

Rental Description

Sleeping up to twelve guests and set just a short distance from the exclusive port town of Porto Cervo, Villa Emerald Jewel is an idyllic base from which you can explore the stunning Costa Smeralda with your family and friends.

Spread over two floors, the villa is a beautiful home which is packed with original features and unique design details. The vast living room is a calming space where you can gather together in the evenings for a drink on the comfy sofas and there is also a fireplace for winter guests. This room leads out on to a large dining terrace where your eye will be drawn to the panoramic sea views which surround the villa. Back indoors you will also find a fully-fitted kitchen which is equipped with everything you could need. You may not get a lot of use from the kitchen however, as the villa comes with a chef and a butler, so all you need to do is sit back and relax while enjoying sumptuous meals.

When it is time to turn in for the night, there are plenty of bedrooms to choose from; there is a lovely master suite which boasts a bathroom with a bath tub and feature sink. This room also opens out on to a sea-view balcony. In addition, there are five more double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms so you are sure of a great night’s sleep at Villa Emerald Jewel.

As well as being beautifully designed, the warm and welcoming home also has all of the modern conveniences your party could desire; air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and satellite TVs can be found throughout. In the grounds you will also discover an inviting spa area with a massage table, a hot tub and sauna as well as an outdoor fitness centre so you do not have to miss out on your workout.

Stepping outside, there are lots of places to sit and dine together as well as a wood fired pizza oven and barbecue for cooking al-fresco. With a fantastic climate here in Sardinia, you are sure to spend most of your time outdoors, swimming in the private pool, soaking in the incredible views and making memories.

When you want to visit the beach, the closest is Piccolo Pevero Beach, a small sandy bay which can be reached by walking along the road (which is unpaved at points) for 20 minutes. Piccolo Pevero is a lovely place to visit which is quieter than famous sister beach Grande Pevero Beach. It is a favourite with tourists who flock there by yacht and paparazzi are often seen snapping images of VIPs and celebrities. If you would like to avoid the crowds, there are plenty more beaches you can reach easily, so many that you can visit one every day of your trip and never run out.

When you wish to dine out in the evening, the luxury seaside resort of Porto Cervo is a stone’s throw away. The chic town is packed with fine-dining restaurants, bars and cafes, there is also a large supermarket close by.  If you prefer to dine in a relaxed, family-owned trattoria there are many of these dotted around in the towns and villages nearby too!

With stunning beaches, plus lively seaside towns close by, Villa Emerald Jewel is a wonderful place to stay on Sardinia’s famous Costa Smeralda. This picture-perfect area in the North-East of the island is much-loved by visitors and you will have plenty to see and do here.

The house sits in an expansive garden, overlooking the dazzling blue sea which is just over 1km away. This leafy, residential area offers a range of restaurants and shops within walking distance, as well as Piccolo Pevero Beach. This, pretty, sandy beach is amazing to have so close and is less crowded than some of the region’s beaches. It can be reached by walking along the road (which is unpaved at points) for 20 minutes. If you would like to unwind on the sun loungers of a glamorous beach club, while sipping a delicious cocktail, why not visit Grande Pevero Beach. You could walk across the wooded hills from Piccolo Pevero Beach to get there, or you could drive the 10km from the villa. Grande Pevero Beach is one of Sardinia’s finest beaches and is one of the most popular spots on the Costa Smeralda.

As well as being home to unrivalled beaches, the North-East of Sardinia is packed with pine forests and beauty spots such as La Padula pond where you can watch migrating birds and head out on scenic walks. Lovers of sports and outdoor pursuits can visit Pevero Golf Club which is 5km away, book a court at the local tennis club which is just 2km away or try out snorkelling and water sports at many of the local beaches. If you would rather spend your time outdoors strolling around the grounds of a vineyard, you could drive to Cantina Murales which is 20km away. Here you can sample the homemade wines and tour the cellars and grounds, before picking up a few bottles of wine for dinner.

If you would like to do some shopping, the perfect place for this is the luxury port town of Porto Cervo which is a short distance from the house. The town is one of the island’s must-visit locations and offers boutique and designer stores, world-class restaurants and trendy bars. There is also another side to the town however and you may also discover museums, art galleries, children’s playgrounds and traditional eateries while here.

If you would like to visit truly unspoilt beaches and snorkel in tiny bays and caves, why not take a day trip to the La Maddalena Archipelago. In order to reach the group of protected islands, you must drive to the town of Palau which is 28km away before setting sail on your adventure. There are many different trips available as there are 60 islands in the group, though most visitors head to the 7 most popular islands.
