Rent Masseria Rodino Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
Surrounded by lush green olive trees, Masseria Rodino is a rich-red home in an oasis-like garden. Sleeping 9 guests across four bedrooms, this typically Puglian home is a fantastic base for a family trip. From the house, you can visit plenty of towns, villages and beaches within a 10km diameter. The home’s exteriors are traditional in style, with pretty shuttered windows and colours which match the hues of the deep-red earth of the South of Italy. As you enter the vast entrance hall, however, you will enter an elegant, modern space with high-end furnishings and clean lines. These contemporary design features work in harmony with the open fireplaces, ceiling beams and stonework in the house to create a welcoming, cosy home from home. The Masseria is laid over three floors; the heart of the home is the ground floor, with open-plan living and dining spaces that wind around into a fully-equipped kitchen. The living room is ideal for gathering together for a chat over a glass of wine, while the vast kitchen dining room is just nearby. You can prepare meals for yourself or organise catering staff upon booking. You can take meals indoors or outside on one of the numerous dining terraces. The home has four bedrooms on offer, and three of these are set on the ground floor. There is a double bedroom with a double bed, a single bed and another double room, which can be enhanced by adding a child’s bed if needed. Each room is bright, airy and boasts an en-suite bathroom, so you are sure of a restful night. The final bedroom is an expansive master suite with two terraces and a walk-in wardrobe, which is located on the first floor. The remaining floor is the lower ground floor, which offers a TV and games room, a family bathroom and a laundry room. This space is an excellent hideout for the kids! Outside, the home is enclosed by a sun-drenched garden with plenty of space to make the most of Puglia’s incredible weather. The garden’s focal point is the inviting pool, which has a shallow area for the children and a relaxing hydromassage area for achy muscles after a long walk. If you wish to dine outdoors, you can choose a table in the sun or a covered dining space equipped with a built-in barbecue. Wherever you are in the garden, you can take in the lovely views of the surrounding trees and the sea in the distance. Though the home enjoys a wonderful setting, you only travel a little to find shops and restaurants as the closest village, Pezze di Greco, is only 1km away. There are two supermarkets, a range of shops, pizzerias and bakeries in the village so you will have a wealth of amenities and dining options on your doorstep. For a wider array of restaurants and bars in a gorgeous historic old town, you can visit Fasano, only 5km away. Masseria Rodino is also well-placed for taking trips to Puglia’s stunning beaches, the nearest of which can be found in the fishing village of Savelletri, which is 10km away or visiting ancient towns like Monopoli, 20km away by car.
