Rent La Randa Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
La Randa could not be better situated with the restaurant-lined harbour of the exclusive town of Port Cervo within walking distance! Close to this warm and welcoming family home, you can access beaches, bustling shopping streets, plenty of restaurants and an array of sporting facilities with ease. As the villa can accommodate ten guests, it is well-suited to a larger family or a group of friends exploring the gorgeous island of Sardinia together.
Set out over two floors, La Randa is a typically Sardinian home. The rustic stonework, fireplaces and terracotta tiles will remind you of times gone by when this area was a quiet fishing village. Over the years, the house has been updated to offer all of the comforts and facilities that guests expect in a holiday home, including Smart TVs, Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout. These facilities, along with spacious, light-filled rooms and comfy furnishings, make this an inviting place to stay where you can settle in for a week or two and get to know the local area.
The villa offers five bedrooms to guests; there are four bedrooms on the ground floor, which include two double en-suite rooms, an additional double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The final bedroom is located on the first floor and has an en-suite bathroom. Whichever room you choose, you will be assured of a great night’s sleep as you listen to the crashing waves in the distance.
When you wish to gather together, you can do so indoors or out in the garden. There is a roomy living area on the ground floor with sofas postioned around the fireplace, plus a dining room just next door. The fully-fitted kitchen is on this level, too, but if you prefer to cook and dine al-fresco, there is a barbecue area with a dining table outside on the terrace, too.
Despite being so centrally located, you are not lacking in garden space here at La Randa, as a leafy-tiered garden with a lawned area and a wraparound terrace envelops the home. Though there are amenities and a few neighbours near the home, the dense shrubbery and the towering trees offer privacy. The garden is a lovely place to eat dinner as you gaze out to sea or swim a few refreshing lengths in the swimming pool.
Within just a short stroll of the house, you will find yourself in the centre of Porto Cervo. The historic town is built around the harbour, with the streets filled with cafes, clothing stores and restaurants all heading down to the port. Here, you can enjoy delicious meals in a water-side restaurant or explore some of the other amenities in town, such as the museums and galleries.
Also near to town are a range of beaches, with the closest being just 2km away. The villa is set on the Emerald Coast, which is the home of Sardinia’s best-loved beaches. If you do not mind travelling a little further, you can take boat tours to the nearby Maddalena islands or drive to the medieval city of Olbia, which is just 28km away and is packed with ancient sites and monuments.
