The elegant waterfront Dimora de Auria is perfectly positioned in the picturesque town of Porto Venere, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea on the northwest coast of Italy. The house is in the sought-after UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Cinque Terre, enveloped by beautiful botanical gardens and the Ligurian coast. The nearest international airport is eighty kilometres southeast of Pisa, or one hundred and forty kilometres northeast of Genoa. The charming town of Porto Venere is a short walk away. Here, you will find stores for provisions for your stay and welcoming cafes, bars, and restaurants serving delicious Ligurian dishes. While you eat there, visit the historic church of St Peter and Doria Castle. You can board a boat from outside the house to the island of Palmaria, where you can swim and sunbathe. Further afield, the coastal towns of Lerici, Tellaro, and San Terenzo all have sandy beaches with a selection of water sports. You can also tee off at one of the Ligurian golf courses or play tennis on a local court. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Cinque Terre villages, each with its unique charm, and hike or take a boat to see the colourful coastal towns.
