Rent Finca Oronella Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
The Mediterranean views are wonderful from this charming family villa by the seafront within walking distance to local restaurants and Binibeca’s beautiful sandy bay.
With four attractive bedrooms, Finca Oronella welcomes up to 8 guests across its inviting interiors. The light-filled living space is stylishly furnished with comfortable sofas alongside an elegant dining table together with a blend of subtle tones and colourful décor. Two sets of patio doors allow you to step out to the raised terrace and admire those glorious sea views from the al-fresco dining terrace and outdoor lounge.
You can also see the Mediterranean from the air-conditioned master double bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. Another air-conditioned en-suite (with twin beds) and two further twin bedrooms with a shared shower room complete the sleeping arrangements at Finca Oronella. Bedrooms are simple yet charming with cool tiled floors and wood beams.
Back outside, gaze towards the glistening sea from the main terrace, then follow the steps down to the swimming pool for cooling off in the summer sun and lounging on the sun beds. At the bottom of the garden, walk through the little gate and cross the road with only the rocky shore now separating you from the water’s edge.
Stroll along the coastal road and within around 10 minutes you will reach a handy supermarket and a small handful of restaurants, then continue towards Binibeca’s sandy beach around 1.5km away. In the other direction, drive past a popular waterpark en route to Punta Prima with its family-friendly bay and beach-side restaurant.
Not forgetting one of the island’s most beloved villages, white-washed Binibeca Vell with its flower-filled alleyways and enchanting architecture, only 2.5km from your sea-facing Menorcan holiday home.

On the edge of Binibeca, Finca Oronella is 20m from the water’s edge in a prime sea-facing position just a short walk from restaurants and a beautiful sandy beach. Only the road and the rocky shore separate the villa’s garden from the sea – as you stroll along the coastal road watch the waves lap against the coastline. Within 900m you will reach a little supermarket and a small handful of restaurants, some with incredible sea vistas, then head back to the seafront and continue to Binibeca’s idyllic sandy bay (1.5km). It’s a beautiful beach with gently-sloping shores and summer sun beds to hire.
The iconic white-washed village of Binibeca Vell (2.5km) is breathtakingly charming with its flower-filled narrow alleyways and tiny fishing houses – the unique buildings are enchanting, designed by a Spanish architect in the 1970s and inspired by traditional Mediterranean fishing villages. There are little shops and restaurants nearby as well as a marina with more lovely views.
Slightly closer to home, the Binibeca Diving Centre can arrange scuba-diving trips, boat tours and kayak rental. Indeed, this is a fantastic coastline for diving/snorkelling and watch locals jump off the rocks at the little calas dotted across the coastline. Meanwhile, keen hikers can follow the Cami de Cavalls route towards Binissafuller and beyond or in the other direction to Mahon via Punta Prima and Cala Sant Esteve. The family-friendly beach of Punta Prima is only 3km away – in the summer months a tourist road train connects Binibeca to its neighbouring seaside resort. Furthermore, there’s a popular waterpark, Splash Sur Menorca, around 1.5km on foot (or a short drive for tired legs) with themed swimming pools and slides.
The island’s capital, Mahon, is a superb day out and only 12km by car. To soak up more Menorcan culture closer to home, visit the characterful village of Sant Lluis (6km) and its 18th century mill, Molí de Dalt, now a museum. Just outside the village centre is one of Menorca’s oldest wineries, Bodegas Binifadet, where tastings and tours can be arranged in Spanish and English. There’s also an excellent restaurant at the winery specialising in authentic island cuisine – do book ahead for a wonderful gastronomic experience.
