This stunning architect-designed, three-storey, detached villa, is built into the hills of ancient olive groves and commands panoramic views over the Taurus mountains, the picturesque harbour, and the azure-blue Mediterranean Sea. Villa Kaz 2 has five super spacious ensuite double bedrooms and can accommodate up to ten guests, ideal for a large family gathering or a group of friends get-together.
The property is built out of classic plaster walls, washed in gun metal grey, with black trim, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, which open onto pool terraces, and sea view bedroom balconies. The villa is set in its own stone surrounding grounds, with tiled terraces, and not just one, but two private swimming pools. Villa Kaz 2 has private parking and comes complete with air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. The interiors are light and bright, with tall ceilings pinned up by white pillars, furnished with stylish contemporary pieces, and decorated in a colour palette of shades of grey and beige, with sunshine yellow highlights. Whilst the ambience is one of easy living and opulent elegance.
Enter the property at ground floor level, where you will find an impressive open-plan living space, with stunning sea views as far as the eye can see, and sliding glass doors that open onto the pool terrace. The seating area has two large comfy grey velvet sofas, coffee tables, and a flat-screen television. In the double-height atrium is a yellow cushioned soft seating area with the best views, perfect for meeting for a morning coffee. The adjacent ten-seater dining set is ideal for a spot of splendid indoor entertaining. The black and white marble-topped kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest built-in appliances that you will need to cater for your holiday. Take the sweeping marble staircase up to the first floor where you will find three spacious beautifully-appointed double bedrooms, all with ensuite modern bathrooms with walk-in showers, and furnished sea-view glass-fronted balconies. Take the stairs to the lower ground floor, where there is a further two double ensuite bedrooms, with direct access to the second pool terrace, just right for those who love a swim before breakfast.
We know you will be spending most of your day on the fabulous sea view terrace with a centrepiece step-entry, an infinity swimming pool, and a built-in overflow Jacuzzi. The pool is surrounded by the latest modern mesh sun loungers with shady parasols, and a swing chair, in which to sit and admire those eternal views. On the lower terrace, there is a second swimming pool, also populated with sun loungers, and a ping pong table, where you can practice your whiff-whaff. As the sun sets and dusk falls, meet at the top terrace’s pergola-covered soft seating area, and sip a cocktail or two. Take a seat at the ten-seater marble-topped table, and enjoy dining under the twinkling stars with local delicacies freshly grilled on the barbeque.

Villa Kaz 2 can be found in the residential area of Kiziltas, overlooking the charming harbour town of Kalkan. Nestled in the hillside with sweeping panoramic views, the villa is situated on the Turkish Turquoise Coast, the jewel of the Mediterranean Sea. Kalkan is one hundred and twenty-five kilometres from Dalaman Airport, a scenic one-and-a-half-hour journey through the Turkish countryside and Taurus mountains. Originally a Greek enclave called Kalamaki, Ottoman and Hellenic influences can be found in the winding colourful cobbled streets of the old town, full of traditional white-washed houses and home to a plethora of restaurants, cafes and bars, and souvenir shops full of goodies you’ll want to take home.
A short drive will take you into the town of Kalkan, where you can find supermarkets, banks, and a local Thursday market, that can supply all the provisions for a happy holiday. The town of Kalkan reputedly has almost one hundred and fifty restaurants, cafes, and bars, you’ll be spoilt for choice deciding on whether to eat traditional Turkish food or dine on gourmet delights in international establishments. Kalkan is well known for some of the best and most exclusive beach clubs, with bathing platforms, fabulous restaurants, and with full-size swimming pools. Take a trip down to the harbour, where you will find complimentary water taxis to ferry you to a beach club of your choice. Located all around the coastline, from Kalkan Beach Park in Kisla to Kulube at Kalamar Bay, there’s a beach club for everyone. For those with itchy feet Villa Ahmet is situated on the Lycian Way walking trail. which cuts through Kalkan. Follow in the footsteps of thousands of years of history, as you trek the trail taking you through major archaeological sites, local villages, dramatic coastlines, and the areas’ flora and fauna. Take a short journey to the town of Kinik, which has the best local Friday market, and where you can step back in time to the Lycian city of Xanthos. Follow the D400 to Fethiye, and discover the historical sites of Patara, Letoon, Tlos, and Pinara, where you can see the ancient ruins, amphitheatres and temples with Lycian, Greek, Roman, and Byzantine influences.
The harbour town of Fethiye is also full of ancient sites worth seeing, as well as a foodie-heaven fish market, and home to some seriously good designer labels and fabulous jewellery shopping. Whilst the nearer town of Kas is just twenty-five kilometres away in the other direction, and well worth the journey alone along one of the world’s most stunning and dramatic coastlines. Pass the new Kas Marina, full of super stylish yachts to the original harbour and working town, with its cobbled streets full of Ottoman architecture and overhanging balconies festooned with pastel coloured bougainvillaea, Barter for unique handmade and antique goods in its many shops, and make memories dining in one of the traditional restaurants serving authentic Turkish cuisine with mesmerising sea views. And if you’re feeling terribly intercontinental, hop on the daily twenty-minute ferry from Kas to the Greek island of Meis, where you can explore the magical Blue Cave and dine by candlelight at the lapping water’s edge.
