On the ground-floor enjoy great open plan living, with high ceilings and long windows and doors allowing the light to flood into every part, creating a bright, airy space to cook up a delicious meal, or simply to relax and unwind. The fabulous fireplace in the lounge area is perfect for the cooler evenings, allowing you to get cosy in front of the TV in warmth and comfort.
From a well-stocked bookshelf to fine paintings and photographs, the attention to detail is apparent in the beautiful finishing touches of each room. On this ground floor there are two double bedrooms, furnished in a similarly traditional style, with coordinating units and fabulous wooden beams stretching across the ceiling. Extending around the front of the house, the great balcony provides a wonderful viewing platform for the surrounding landscape, right into the forests and fields that surround the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On the next level, there is a third bedroom complete with ensuite and direct access to the garden. As you relax in this wonderful garden, feet up by the pool or indulging in a glass of wine on the terrace, you’ll feel a million miles from the hive of activities just down the road. That’s the true beauty of this property – feeling far from civilisation, yet just a 10 minute drive away, this villa has the best of both worlds!
When you feel the need to explore the rest of the island, you need look no further than nearby Pollensa, just 8-10 minutes by car, or a further 5 minutes will bring you to the Balearic sea itself! BPollensa is the picture perfect district of Mallorca, regarded as the cultural centre of the north of the island! When people picture Mallorca, they might not know it, but often what they’re picturing is Pollensa. Endless sandy beaches and roads lined with palm-trees set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range. The diverse landscape, from fertile valleys to steep mountains and gently undulating hills and of course the beaches which seem to stretch endlessly to the horizon, is just one of the reasons that so many great artists have chosen to call this island home throughout the last century.
Just 5km away, the town of Pollensa itself will certainly provide your fill of authentic Spanish culture – 17th and 18th century houses, cobbled, winding streets and traditional markets every Sunday! Cafés, bars and restaurants are scattered in amongst traditional shops and large sections of the town are pedestrianised.
