Snuggled atop the hillside area of Begur lies this charming holiday villa. This home is a fantastic combination of rustic style and modern living.
Steeped in hues of browns and terracotta, this villa blends perfectly into it’s almost rural surroundings. Framed by nature and perched in a spot enveloped in absolutely breath-taking views of the beautiful Mediterranean and the local bay below. This enclave is one of the best places to truly appreciate some of the best views around Begur.
Villa Emporda is a spacious property packed full of holiday making features. Comfortably sleeping up to ten people, this home is perfect for large groups or families. Fully renovated, this property is set across two floors and seamlessly flows throughout. The space within is further emphasised by the light decorations and tasteful décor. Every bedroom is decorated in neutral tones, creating an atmosphere of peace and serenity allowing guests to fully rejuvenate before the next days activities. Adding to this, there are two lounge areas allowing for ultimate relaxation as well as minimal arguments over who gets to pick the channel! Although, with views like these, it’s unlikely you’ll need the television. 
Continuing outside the property you will find a fairly sized infinity pool, with roman steps allowing for easy access. This pool is excellently positioned, fully facing those breath-taking sea views. Around the pool is a large area perfect for sun bathing or lounging in the siesta. If you find the sun a bit too hot, there is a covered area overlooking the pool. Above that, and attached to the upper floor bedrooms is a balcony which wraps around most of the property. Not only does this balcony give you access to those fantastic views, (picture stretching in the early morning sun or romance in the Spanish sunset) it also allows you to monitor the pool without getting splashed! Begur is a hidden gem of the ever-popular Costa Brava.  Begur is part of the comarca of the Baíx Empordá in Catlonia. It has become very popular with Barcelonians which, if you feel like stretching your legs is located just 1-hour North of Begur!
Begur is overflowing with Spanish charm and has a plethora of things to do from fantastic local eateries and restaurants to boutique shopping and much more. There are of course the ruins of the Castell de Begur which makes for an interesting hike. The nearest beach is that of Aiguablava which is just shy of 5km away.
Begur is conveniently located within a slew of local Spanish towns and villages giving families and explorers plenty of things to do. There are the stylish beaches of Sa Tuna and Sa Riera which are just a short drive away. If history is your passion then perhaps the nearby villages of Regencos and Púbol will interest you. They are both oozing with medieval architecture, especillay Púbol which is home to many landmarks associated with Salvador Dalí, including the ruins of the castle that he gifted to his Russian wife, Gala.
