The exterior of Villa Corda is truly stunning; a small fish pond greets guests as they enter the property, and there are all kinds of exotic plants and trees surrounding the perimeter, providing privacy for guests. At the back of the house sits the stunning pool area, where guests can cool off from the blazing Algarve heat in the crystal clear water, or top up their tan on one of the many indulgent sun loungers with a good book and a drink in hand. A lush green lawn encircles the villa, providing plenty of room for exploring and having fun with the family! There is a lovely dining table and seating area under a pretty pergola, where you can simply relax or enjoy alfresco meals with loved ones, prepared on the fantastic barbecue. Next to the outdoor dining area is a built-in fire pit, where everyone can gather after a delicious meal and spend some quality time together.
Inside, the villa is bright and airy with high ceilings and plenty of space for everyone to come and go as they please. A large central living area provides plenty of comfortable seating for everyone, with a fireplace and a TV for late night movies. The dining area provides a casual but lovely setting for a dinner party, and the fully equipped kitchen provides plenty of prep space and state-of-the-art appliances. Elegant French doors flood the entire property with light and allow a seamless flow between the indoors and outside. Three bedrooms can also be found downstairs; these are comprised of a double en suite, as well as two twin rooms that share a bathroom. Upstairs, there is a mezzanine above the living room with a double bed. All four of the bedrooms offer stylish serenity and unadulterated comfort, each with their own gorgeous interior ensuring that guests feel at home during their stay in the villa. The bathrooms are also a good size and finished to a very high standard. There is also a snooker table and table football in the basement garage for those with a competitive streak!
Should you wish to explore outside the villa, there is a vast variety of activities nearby to entertain the whole family. The nearest beach is just a short stroll away, and Albufeira beckons with its exciting nightlife, wonderful restaurants and fabulous shopping. Vilamoura is also close by, with a fantastic marina and excellent golf courses on offer, what more could guests want? Faro airport is under an hours’ drive away, meaning getting there could not be easier. Albufeira is famed for its stunning sandy beaches and is also home to a busy nightlife strip. Don’t let that fool you though, Albufeira has something for the whole family! Nearby attractions include theme parks, safari, sea experiences, surfing, diving, dolphin spotting, paintball, water sports and much more!It is an excellent location to people-watch with seafront restaurants being beautiful choices for freshly caught fish and dining under the sunrise or sunset. Galeria de Arte Pintor Samora Barros is in this area and is an art gallery dedicated to showcasing the work of late Portuguese painter Samora Barros.
Vilamoura, also a short drive away, is a trendy seaside town, that attracts a classy traveller. A host of prestigious yachts & boats swarm the Marina, which spills onto a strip of stylish bars, locally renowned restaurants and a casino. The glamour does not end there, as Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia, two alluringly sandy beaches, can be found very close by.
This region of Portugal has a fine reputation amongst golf enthusiasts and has a number of championship courses to choose from. If you have any backhanded thoughts regarding golf, never fear, as Vilamoura has over fifty tennis courts for you to choose from. Numerous water-sports centres scattered within the town allow you to enjoy anything from snorkelling to boat trips. With a vast coastline that meets the powerful Atlantic Ocean, Portugal is a true paradise for the keen surfer, or indeed even those looking to try it for the first time, with plenty of surfing schools all along the calmer sections of the coast. And even for those less enamoured with surfing, the beaches of Portugal are well worth a visit for their beautifully clear waters.
