The gorgeous Chalet Lievre is nestled into the hillside in Le Cret, a sun- drenched, pretty Val d’Isere hamlet surrounded by beautiful mountains and offering stunning views over Val d’Isere. It is within walking distance of the town and a stone’s throw from La Daille. This fabulous old farmhouse has been beautifully renovated to offer chic, stylish holiday accommodation for up to ten guests. Chalet Lievre boasts four exceptional bedroom suites, a gorgeous, open plan living space, a cinema room that can be used as an additional sleeping space, a ski and boot room and an outdoor hot tub. The chalet’s traditional Savoyard wooden architecture blends beautifully with sumptuous contemporary furnishings and luxurious fabrics. Guests staying at the chalet enjoy a daily shuttle service to and from the slopes and a fantastic contactless catered chalet experience with options for an a la carte catering service. The chalet offers great access to the ski slopes with the Rond Point less than ten minutes away and the Solaise and Bellevarde slopes very close. La Daille offers quick access to the whole Espace Killy ski area.
Throughout Chalet Lievre you will discover solid oak floors, luxurious soft furnishings and some wonderful stone fireplaces that offer a wonderfully warm ambience together with its Alpine architecture. The lower ground floor is home to the dreamy master bedroom suite, the cinema room and the sheltered hot tub. The ground floor is where you will find the stunning open plan living space with access to a spacious terrace and the ski room. The remaining three bedrooms are found on the first floor, heavenly nests where you will sleep like kings.
You may have to draw straws for the master bedroom suite even though all of the bedrooms are warm and inviting. The master offers a beautifully adorned kingsize bed, an atmospheric fireplace, a walk-in wardrobe and a fabulous ensuite bathroom. With its four poster drapes, it feels very romantic and luxurious. The cinema room is fantastic for a relaxed evening in watching a movie. The squishy corner sofa arrangement is very comfortable and the vibrant red walls match the sofa piping. The screen is huge. This room also can be used for two extra guests. If children are tired after a busy day on the slopes, it is perfect for them while you enjoy your evening. The hot tub is also perfect for aching limbs, a luxurious treat where you can relax with a glass of champagne admiring the views.
The living space enjoys another feature fireplace where you will feel snug and warm. This is surrounded by sumptuous sofas and trendy chairs, a fabulous spot for afternoon tea or pre-dinner drinks. Delicious meals can be prepared in the delightful, fully-equipped kitchen which offers excellent appliances including a range cooker and a Nespresso coffee machine.
The final three bedrooms are above, one with a comfy double bed and the others with superb twin beds. They are exquisite rooms with lovely soft furnishings and crisp cottons on the beds. Each of the bedrooms at Chalet Lievre enjoys its own ensuite bathroom, either with a shower or a freestanding bath.

Val d’Isere enjoys a wonderful location within the Alps mountain tops. The resort enjoys a charming, authentic ambience, an attractive historic centre, endless chocolate-box chalets, a wonderful array of unique boutiques and fantastic bars and eateries. Val d’Isere is linked with Tignes, offering a massive ski playground. Val d’Isere’s snowfall record is brilliant with the lifts and skiing usually staying open until the end of the season at the beginning of May. The centre of Val d’Isere is a bustling high street which is surrounded by a number of small hamlets including Le Cret, Le Joseray, Le Chatelard, La Legettaz and Le Laisinant.
The Espace Killy area including Tignes is the birthplace of the Olympic skier Jean-Claude Killy. Its connections and advanced ski infrastructure is excellent with more than 3400 km of pistes and 99 lifts. As well as the Grande Motte glacier which offers 20 km of summer ski runs, it also boasts the challenging black-rated piste, Face de Bellevarde with its 915 m drop. Its height altitude from 1850 m to 3400 m guarantees some of the best snow in Europe. The ski area is perfect for all levels of skiers with its mythical slopes, almighty challenges and its quiet ski areas for beginners and children. The Valkids area and Valpark, a brilliant snow park are welcome additions for families. Passes can be bought for any number of days as well as for those that do not want to ski. Family passes are also available. Pedestrians do not have to miss out on the stunning views and family lunches on the slopes as they can access many lifts including the Solaise gondola, the Pim Pam carpet, the Poum carpet, the Vallon gondola, the Funival, the Daille gondola, the Olympique cable car, the Fornet cable car and the Bellevarde chairlift. The resort operates some brilliant ski schools.
When the ski runs are closed, Val’d’Isere is a fabulous place for a wander, for evening entertainment and for shopping. It is extremely picturesque with a 17th century church in the historic centre and delightful, characterful shops, restaurants and bars. It is a known party destination with La Folie Douce being one of it main evening attractions. For those that don’t ski or want a day off, there are some excellent spas and a brilliant leisure centre. There is a lot of entertainment for children which is very helpful. During the summer, Val d’Isere enjoys fabulous biking and hiking trails and the wonderful Vanoise National Park.
