Relax and be entertained in style at Cornwall Castle. The castle accommodates 18 guests in nine luxuriously appointed double en-suite bedrooms, with magical views over the River Tamar. You’ll find lots to do in the Castle and around the scenic 2,000 acre estate and we can arrange numerous activities for you too.
Cornwall Castle is family-run award winning wedding and events venue with five star accommodation set in the centre of a 2,000 acre estate set on the Cornish bank of the River Tamar.
Though peaceful and secluded, Cornwall Castle is only a short drive from Plymouth, Cornwall’s North and South Coasts, the championship golf courses of St. Mellion International resort, and the wilderness of both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

Shooting and fishing at Cornwall Castle:
Cornwall Castle has its own highly regarded pheasant shoot with 18 main drives. Each drive offers high, fast and challenging birds with the opportunity for at least two consecutive days shooting (mid-Oct to 1st February). Gun dogs are welcome. Clay pigeon shoots are also available.
Cornwall Castle is lucky to have the winding River Tamar bordering the estate. While it’s tidal at Cornwall Castle, the river upstream is a superb salmon and trout river and offers excellent sport for fly fishermen from 1st March to 14th October. Tuition and guides can be organised for you.
