The 15th Century manor house has been beautifully modernised with high attention to detail while still retaining all of its original charm and character. Comforts Place can comfortably accommodate up to twenty guests across its ten beautifully-presented bedrooms, with large entertaining spaces it makes the perfect setting for a special get-together or family reunion. On the ground floor is the main living accommodation which comprises of a living room, large fully-equipped kitchen, a dining room to seat eighteen as well as a fun games room. For those wanting to indulge in some R&R there is even a sauna – the perfect place to relax after action-packed days spent exploring the Surrey countryside! The first of the bedrooms, a double room, is located on the ground floor. Upstairs, are the remaining nine bedrooms, five king-size rooms and four doubles. Two of the bedrooms feature luxurious en-suite bathrooms while guests staying in the other bedrooms will share the use of four fantastic family bathrooms upstairs.
During the Summer months, the whole group will enjoy splashing around in the fabulous private pool and indulging in some healthy competition on the tennis court! Guests are bound to enjoy ending the day al fresco dining on the terrace while relishing in the tranquil surroundings.
Boasting a swimming pool, tennis court, games room and sauna – there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained without even leaving the front door!

While guests will enjoy a tranquil stay, a wide variety of helpful amenities can be found less than 10-minutes away in nearby Lingfield and Oxted.
As well as the swimming pool, there is a pond in the garden and so we recommend that small children are supervised at all times.

The homes makes the ideal setting for a family reunion or special occasion, conveniently located just 20-minutes from Gatwick Airport, ideal for any guests travelling in from abroad.
There is plenty for guests of all ages to see, do and explore in the surrounding area. Just a 5-minute drive away is the popular British Wildlife Centre, home to 40 different native species, it is well-worth a visit for any animal lovers. Beautiful Wakehurst, Kew’s wild botanic garden, is a must-visit and is reachable in under 25-minutes.
