Just head into the local village of Avebury (a three-minute drive or half-an-stroll stroll) – it’s an afternoon well spent with its traditional inn, charming shops, and of course, the Neolithic stone circle. Just be sure to make it home in time for some stargazing around the fire pit on the beautifully landscaped terrace that you’ll share with the barn’s other cottages. On a balmy evening, there’s no finer place to be.
