The delightful garden makes a great setting for a picnic on warmer days (catering is available) or just walk to the pub (thirty minutes) for a hearty Sunday roast. Of course, there are some wonderful walks and cycle rides to discover right from your doorstep and bikes can be rented and delivered to the cottage in advance. For a range of boutiques, restaurants and cafes – head to Ilminster, a three-minute drive or explore Dillington Park, a seven-minute walk away. If you fancy exploring further afield – Charmouth Beach is just over a thirty-minute drive – that’s if you can tear yourself away from this rural paradise.
