When you’ve finished gazing out at the peaceful scenery, you’ll notice that the home’s design is worthy of attention itself – large artworks, chic furnishings and a sleek kitchen with a huge amount of surface space lend a fresh and contemporary feel. There’s substance behind this style too and it’s fair to say that the home has been put together with comfort and warmth in mind. Not only are there fireplaces in the living room and all of the bedrooms, but there are also two bathtubs in which to sink back into steamy water after long days out in the open air.
Speaking of which, there are hiking routes aplenty in Chugach State Park, which starts just over five minutes’ drive from the home, as well as ski runs in Alyeska Resort, about forty-five minutes away in the car. Closer to home, you’ll find museums, shops and restaurants in surrounding Anchorage.
