Casa Lime Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
Immersed in the idyllic Le Marche countryside surrounded by valleys and vast greenery, Casa Lime is a comfortable holiday abode between the Adriatic and the Tuscan and Umbrian regions in central Italy. This charming retreat is excellent for those looking for a rural escape with plenty of options to explore historic towns, hills and a lush stretch of coastline.
Set on a hill overlooking the sea, the modern house comprises two floors designed to unwind in utmost comfort. The two lounges and an additional TV room are decorated with colourful sofas and invite you to relax after a long day spent exploring. Four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms ensure you’ll never feel crowded.
The house boasts a large garden fenced by hedges and features communal spaces ideal for entertaining. The shaded areas are perfect for al-fresco meals, while the designated barbecue area will turn every evening into a memorable occasion. After taking a plunge in the refreshing swimming pool, continue to enjoy the sun rays in the comfort of a sun lounger or retreat to the upstairs terrace – this is undoubtedly the perfect spot for soaking up atmospheric views of the sea and villages below.
If you feel adventurous, you can always venture outside to explore the postcard-worthy region and its many hidden gems in the form of romantic towns, crumbling vineyards and seaside. If you’re into wine, you can hunt down a rare variety in this region – Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, an intriguing, floral red you won’t find anywhere else.
Nestled in the rural backwaters and surrounded by small towns, the closest supermarket is only a 5-minute drive away, located conveniently in the closest local village. Here you can also find other useful amenities as well as family-owned bars and restaurants.
The closest city, Pesaro, is only a 25-minute drive away, allowing for spontaneous trips to the coastline whenever you please. Famous for being a UNESCO Creative City of Music, it’s the birthplace of composer Gioacchino Rossini and hosts the Rossini Opera Festival every summer. Visit the Pesaro Cathedral on your walk through the city or head to the beach backed by terraced restaurants and beach bars for some much-deserved relaxation.
Alternatively, visit San Marino, one of the world’s oldest republics which also retains much of its historic architecture. The capital sits on the slopes of Monte Titano, known for its medieval walled old town and cobbled streets filled with rustic bars and cafés that hum with aperitif activity. After a stroll, you can admire the Three Towers – castle-like citadels dating back to the 11th century that sit atop Titano’s neighbouring peaks.Sandwiched between the Apennine Mountain range and the Adriatic Sea, Le Marche is primarily untouched with beautiful beaches, gorgeous landscapes, ancient farms and pretty villages.
Put on your walking shoes or hire mountain bikes to explore the vibrant backcountry, such as the area around Monte Canero – a majestic mountain with expansive views and wildlife. The region is blessed with many natural parks, such as the Donero Regional Park boasting a typical Mediterranean landscape, and it’s also a true wine paradise. During September, you can enjoy a festival of open wineries, and in October, you can witness the harvest of olive oil in one of the many farm-to-fork establishments located on the slopes.
Another excellent holiday destination is Pesaro – combining a honey-hued sandy beach with a historic city and an array of foodie spots. Every August, it lures visitors with the famous Il Rossini Opera Festival. Enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere when admiring centuries-old buildings or grab an aperitif by the beach before taking a dip in the sea. The vast sandy coast here has all the amenities such as showers and changing rooms to make your stay as comfortable as it can get.
Located a 40-minute drive away, Rimini is a popular seaside resort known for its party scene and a long shore home to Parco Naturale Monte San Bartolo. This picturesque park runs along the Adriatic Sea, offering breath-taking views and walking paths.
When aiming to explore the region’s inland beauty, head for San Marino – the Republic of San Marino capital- a small independent enclave framed by Italian territory. The city is perched atop rugged Mount Titano and is known for its medieval old town and cobblestone streets, and three watchtowers once forming part of the city’s defensive system. At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
