Landscove Barns United Kingdom

First constructed from Cornish and Devonshire stone over 200 years ago, this barn complex encircles a central courtyard offering a classic example of the architecture of the era. Inside however, they boast stylish, contemporary design and comfort to rival the finest 5 star hotel.
In the last few years this former dairy farm has been transformed from derelict ruin to a luxurious and modern rural retreat. The farm itself has also been rejuvenated, with the owners introducing livestock, harvesting the orchard and many other vegetables, there’s even a new lake with duck house.

One enters through a superb towering archway with large wooden gates into a space where all the suites and cottages are located. All have been sympathetically created within these beautiful structures.
Each of the barns has been restored in such a way as to reflect the evolution of the building over the centuries. Above head, stunning hand sawn timbers, rafters and purlins have all been retained along with many of the original features of the dairy. Whilst the floors have all been kitted out with underfloor heating, and a stylish apartment style aesthetic that looks more New York studio than cutesy Devon barn!

The “rawness” of the design emphasizes the luxurious accommodation with bathrooms done in a chic style including Italian marble bathtubs and the bedrooms furnished with superb comfortable beds adorned with crisp white linen.
For all except one of the barns there is a fold out sofa that can accommodate an extra two guests, meaning a total of 20 can stay at the barns. They are right next to
Landscove House, and can be rented together for an incredible wedding or celebration. There is a professional kitchen, and spectacular big barn with glass roof for entertaining.

Many of the suites and cottages have their own kitchens and can be configured in a variety of ways.
Landscove Barns offer the perfect country escape. Its picturesque location puts guests at the heart of everything the South Hams and Devon has to offer, including Dartmoor and the South Devon coast. These are only a short distance away. There are countless charming, historic towns and villages such as Totnes and Dartmouth to explore in the surrounding area.Everything from meat and two veg, to Michelin star chefs can be arranged. Also ready meals/shopping can be provided on request.
