As the evening draws in, head downstairs where you’ll find all six sublime bedrooms on the ground floor. In the master bedrooms you’ll find a king-size bed at the heart of immense, spectacular rooms. The village itself delights, with its distinctive half-timbered houses and several quaint cafes and pubs to enjoy on your strolls throughout its picturesque streets.
Meanwhile, just 20 minutes to the north is Bury St. Edmunds, the home of Saint Edmund, the original patron Saint of England. Bursting with impressive architecture, noteworthy restaurants and fantastic shopping, it’s perfect for a day trip! Be sure to visit the Abbey, once one of the richest and most powerful Benedictine monasteries in England and a historical pilgrimage location!
Suffolk embodies the slow pace of life that so many of us can only dream of. And yet, this county is rich in history, housing the grand estates of Christchurch Mansion, Otley Hall and Ickworth House, even endless attractions including the Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park near Lowestoft or The Otter Trust near Earsham with a huge collection of otters!
