Holiday Home Rental Description
A spectacular 5-bedroom villa with the most glorious sea view, Villa Cvjetni offers top-notch facilities in a fine Omiš location. With room for up to 10 guests, this contemporary villa in the Borak area is a short walk from the beach and comes with a spacious terrace and an 8m x 3m pool.
Omiš’s turquoise waters and rugged coastline give Villa Cvjetni an unforgettable setting. The house comes with a large outdoor space centred on the heated pool with a hydromassage feature. This private area has a sun deck with loungers, an outdoor shower, and a dining space with a barbecue. Covered and open seating areas are perfect for relaxing in the sun or shade.
Inside, the house is impressively styled, with bursts of block colour adding warmth and vibrancy. The open-plan living area offers direct access to the pool terrace and features a well-equipped kitchen and centrepiece dining table with seating for 10. For informal dining, there’s additional seating at the kitchen counter. This villa comes equipped with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, while entertainment is taken care of with Smart TV, Netflix and high-end Denon speakers.
Another very special feature on the ground floor is the spa room. Put some me-time aside, and you can enjoy a Finnish sauna and a hot tub before strolling out to the pool.
All five bedrooms are situated on the first floor and have gorgeous sea views. Each room has a king-size bed and en suite shower, with four rooms offering access to the covered balcony with its comfy seating – perfect for seeing the sunset each evening.
With parking for five cars and an electric vehicle charging point, Villa Cvjetni is only a 5-minute drive from the centre of Omiš and the mighty River Cetina. Famed for its amazing water sports offering, this relaxed town also has plenty of good restaurants and bars, along with sand and pebble beaches.
With Split, 30 minutes west and the stunning island of Brač just across the water, the town is perfectly placed for excursions – head down the coast towards Makarska, and you can also experience the natural beauty of Mount Biokovo. On the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia, Omiš is known for stunning fortresses and pirate history, as well as great beaches and a varied water-sports scene. With the River Cetina its star attraction, Omiš is the place to try those high-energy activities – canyoning, rafting, canoeing and zip-lining across the canyon are all on offer.
Omiš’s fortresses – 13th-century Mirabella and 15th-century Starigrad – require a bit of climbing to reach but reward the effort with stunning views across the area. Another good vantage point is the site of the Mila Gojsalič statue. Mila Gojsalič was a famous Croatian folk heroine compared with Joan of Arc, and the statue which celebrates her is located high in the hills, around 5km from the centre of town.
Beaches are abundant around Omiš, and the town’s lengthy Velika Plaza is perfect for an easy day out. Pebble beaches Brzet and Slavinj are also a short walk from town. Further afield, in the direction of Split, you’ll find yet more pleasant beach stops, like Dugi Rat and Jesenice. Head towards Makarska and Baška Voda is another good choice. If you want to see the islands, there are many more on Hvar, Šolta and nearby Brač. The latter is only about 15km from Omiš and is well worth a trip.
The town’s pirate past is the basis for all sorts of attractions, including a pirate ship which offers cruises with entertainment along the way. Aside from this, Omiš has an array of places to eat and drink, serving the needs of the many visitors drawn to its incredible location. Roughly midway between Split and Makarska, Omiš has convenience on its side too.
To the west, Split is the biggest city for quite some distance and has the world-class landmarks of Diocletian’s Palace and the Cathedral of St Domnius, as well as the captivating Riva waterfront. Split’s cultural scene is well-developed, with venues such as the Croatian National Theatre, the Meštrović Gallery and the Split Gallery of Fine Arts among the highlights.
Makarska, the jewel of Makarska Riviera, is known for good nightlife and sits at the foot of Mount Biokovo, giving the Old Town its rugged backdrop. Hiking and adventure sports are popular here, while the Biokovo Skywalk delivers a thrill of its own; this glass-bottomed viewing platform up in the mountains is around 35 minutes drive from Makarska.
If Split feels too crowded, Trogir – about 50 minutes drive from Omiš – is a good alternative. With a UNESCO World Heritage medieval centre and an attractive waterfront, it’s a charming city you’ll be pleased you didn’t overlook. The most spectacular views in town come from the bell tower of St Lawrence Cathedral, considered one of the finest architectural sights in Croatia. At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
