The exterior of the property is a blend of grey brick and white paintwork, clean lines and edges, all combined with huge floor to ceiling glass doors and windows. The surroundings are secluded and private, with a patio area featuring a covered dining area and barbecue facilities, allowing guests to enjoy an alfresco meal while admiring the stunning views. In the evening, you can retire to the beautifully lit outdoor living area which features sumptuous seating and modern glass underlit tables, giving a beach bar vibe. The villa’s premium BOSE sound system, which is both interior and exterior, will only add to the experience and means that guests can enjoy the incredibly luxurious surroundings long into the night.
The real jewel in Villa Krylya’s crown is its private infinity pool. With its crystal clear water and glass side overlooking the sea, it is hard to tell where the pool ends and the turquoise waters of the Adriatic begin.
Stepping inside guests will be greeted by a spacious open-plan layout consisting of the living, kitchen, and dining area. The entire space is decorated in a modern and subtle colour palette of white and soft greys, accented with solid wooden furniture, sprays of exposed grey stonework, and the chocolate brown leather corner sofa. The kitchen is white and glossy, with a breakfast bar and tall stools providing extra seating; the perfect place to perch with a glass of wine while others buzz around the well-equipped kitchen. This area features an electric oven and hob, large American-style fridge-freezer, as well as coffee maker, toaster and microwave. All the appliances are integrated, and there is plenty of storage space and food preparation areas, making this kitchen easy to navigate and a joy to utilise. The nearby town of Omis has a big sandy beach – a rare find in Croatia where the beaches tend to be shingle or pebble. The nearest city to Jesenice is Split, the second largest city in the country. It lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and is spread over the central peninsula. This buzzing and exuberant city blends modern and traditional styles, and is the perfect place to visit if you want some contrast to the sleepy village atmosphere. Inside the impressive Roman monument of Diocletian’s Palace, you’ll find dozens of bars, restaurants, and shops to visit, and down at the bustling waterfront, you will find fresh seafood served daily.
An important site to visit for any Game Of Thrones fans to visit within the palace is the cellar, where Daenerys kept her dragons in the series when she was in Meereen. Other fascinating attractions to visit is St. Domnius Cathedral, the oldest Catholic cathedral in the world completed in the 7th century AD.
