You’ll find six-bedroomed Villa Sarah nestled in a peaceful spot just outside of Orlando, Florida. The family-friendly holiday villa is more like a luxury home with its spacious garage, driveway and warm and welcoming interior. Think large four-poster beds and comfy bed linen.
There’s a private swimming pool too. Plus, it’s part of a resort, so you have access to all the top-notch facilities. Relax in the spa, let the kids loose in the water playground or work out in the fitness centre. With a clubhouse, lazy river and cinema and games room, there’s plenty to keep the family entertained.
The villa itself boasts a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you’ll need for cooking or dining. There’s an indoor and outdoor dining table, as well as a microwave, oven and coffee machine. Or, if you feel like eating out instead, head to the resort’s grill restaurant and bar.
Continuing the home-from-home feel, you’ll also find a washing machine. Kick back on the comfy cushioned sofas, challenge the kids to a game of shuffleboard or plan your action-packed days over the large five-seater breakfast bar. With televisions and Wi-Fi too, you can check up on the weather.
Outside is the safely enclosed swimming pool with sun loungers – ideal for finding your favourite sun spot. The overhang provides the perfect shade for reading, and there’s a separate spa pool off the main pool.
If you need some reprieve from the afternoon sun, go back indoors into the cooling air conditioning. For exploring, the world-famous theme parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Florida and the Magic Kingdom are about a 20km drive.
Kissimmee also lies along the northwest shore of Lake Tohopekaliga (nicknamed Lake Toho), and its vibrant waterfront has plenty of beautiful walking paths, playgrounds and a fishing pier. When you get back, the resort’s bar or clubhouse awaits.Champions Gate
