Panorama De La Mer France
Holiday Home Rental Description
Perched on the hills near Carqueiranne, Panorama De La Mer boasts sweeping views of the Mediterranean. Discover the wonders of this glistening part of the French Riviera coastline, dotted with beaches, pine trees, hidden coves and bustling ports.
The villa is beautifully designed and the stunning scenery is the centrepiece to many of the rooms. Large windows are carefully placed to capture the surroundings and let plenty of light in – the living room with its minimal feel and muted décor is the perfect example of this as you gaze out to the big blue. This impressive holiday home sleeps up to 10 guests across five pretty bedrooms, some with sea vistas, alongside five modern bathrooms.
Step outside to find the gorgeous infinity pool that overlooks the sea. Enjoy an afternoon splashing around in the pool and jumping off the diving board before drying off on a sun lounger with your favourite book. The evening is the perfect time to watch the colours of the landscape change as the sun sets whilst dining al-fresco with loved ones.
This gorgeous villa is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle but still within driving distance of some wonderful places. There are plenty of places to eat within a short drive, including seafront restaurants with epic views to admire while you dine. Carqueiranne is an especially pretty port of you may prefer to head up to experience the charm and authenticity of nearby Hyères, only 11km away.
Golf lovers can reach an 18-hole course and driving range in around 20 minutes while there are tennis courts even closer, not to mention a great range of watersports including some great kite and windsurfing opportunities along Plage de l’Almanarre.
Drive around half an hour to Toulon, a stunning port city with a backdrop of limestone mountains. Marvel at the 17th-century French Naval exhibits at the Musée National de la Marine or wander along the harbour with its serene waters and pretty fishing boats. For an uninterrupted view of the city, ride the cable car that climbs 585 metres up Mount Faron.
From Toulon or the Giens Peninsula, you can also take a boat ride to the three Golden Isles, the Îles d’Hyères, each worth visiting thanks to their unique charm, glorious beaches and picture-perfect walking trails through incredible nature. Panorama De La Mer is a brilliant base for discovering all the delights the French Riviera has to offer. There are lots of restaurants, shops and amenities within easy reach, as well as a stunning coastline dotted with beaches to explore. Within a 10-minute drive you could be striking out in the azure waters of the Mediterranean and, if you are after more action, then the nearest golf course and tennis courts can be reached under 20 minutes.
The closest restaurants and shops can be found in the pretty harbour town of Carqueiranne, just a 10-minute drive from the villa. It’s a charming place to stroll around, with a picturesque church and streets lined with palm trees. Down by the port there are some nice waterfront restaurants and there is also a supermarket useful for stocking up on supplies before retreating back to your villa.
Just a 30-minute car journey away, the port city of Toulon boasts pristine sandy beaches, pebbled coves and a mountainous backdrop. Start your day there soaking up the sunshine by walking along the coast and marvelling at the quaint fishing boats before heading indoors to the grand Musée National de la Marine, which displays maritime artefacts from France’s naval history. Also not to be missed is a ride up the red cable car to the top of Mount Faron to reach the best vantage point of the city. At 585 metres up, you’ll be greeted by a panoramic view of Toulon with a backdrop of the sea.
From Toulon or the Giens Peninsula you can catch a boat to the Golden Isles, three beautiful islands which each have their own unique character. Porquerolles is home to white sandy beaches and has lots of biking trails. If you’re looking for unspoilt landscapes then the protected island of Port-Cros is for you – it is covered with hiking paths and fascinating wildlife. Finally, there is Le Levant, an island with a naturist village and Les Arbousiers, a natural reserve.
If you fancy a day trip then there are two great destinations just over an hour’s drive away. To the west sits Marseille, a bustling city known for its gorgeous old port, with its yachts and pleasure boats. Make sure you head to the ancient Le Panier neighbourhood, the oldest part of the city, and the République quarter, filled with charming boutiques.
