Inside, the villa is minimalist and modern; decorated in light tones and natural woods, and there’s a charming blend of traditional Greek architecture with contemporary furnishings. Think classic whitewashed walls, vibrant painted blue shutters and beamed ceilings. The living space has comfy sofas and a flat-screen TV for those family entertainment evenings, while the modern fully-equipped kitchen has an oven, microwave and fridge for effortless meal prep.
The villa comfortably sleeps nine and the five bedrooms are similarly styled elegantly. The master steals the show with its four-poster bed and charming balcony, but the other rooms are all equally seductive with their unfussy soft furnishings and a welcoming feel. There are four bathrooms too for a relaxing home-from-home stay.
Stepping outside, the generous garden area has the infinity pool, a BBQ and a place to dine al fresco while you soak in the Mediterranean ambience. There are prime sunbathing spots on one of the cushion-lined sun loungers, or you can relax with a good book in the shade. We can’t forget to mention the air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout either, and towels and toiletries are provided.
Part of a secluded complex, this villas makes it easy to imagine you have the coastline to yourselves, and you have a private dock and sea access. , and there are dedicated daily cleaning staff for a carefree stay. Plus, you’re only a seven-minute drive from the nearest sandy beach, Psarou Beach, where there are local shops and restaurants. Mykonos, the cosmopolitan Greek island, is known for its beautiful white sand beaches and iconic landmarks including a row of picturesque 16th-century windmills, which sit on a hill above Mykonos town and are 3.5km the villa. With a charming and welcoming atmosphere and plenty of things for you to see and do, it’s the perfect holiday destination for families, friends and couples alike.
The main town in Mykonos is the main attraction. There are traditional blue and white houses and quaint streets full of shops and churches for you to discover. You’ll also find bars and taverns serving local cuisine and boutiques selling everything from typical Greek souvenirs, like olive oil or leather sandals, to clothes. Nearby, you can explore Little Venice – a group of medieval houses right at the water’s edge – and you’ll find art shops and cafés here too. For history fiends, there are four museums. The Archaeological Museum is a must see.
For days spent relaxing on the beach, family-orientated Psarou Beach, to the west, is well protected and boasts crystal-clear waters. Kalafatis in the east has a scuba centre, windsurf school and scenic islets to marvel at offshore. For both beginner and advanced scuba divers, Paradise Beach is a popular spot with two wrecks, caverns and several reefs nearby to explore.
Mykonos is also the perfect jumping-off point for the UNESCO-listed archaeological site of the nearby island of Delos and picturesque island of Rhenia. You can take a boat trip and sail across the Aegean, stopping to swim and snorkel at the pristine beach coves.
