Villa Liba is a truly elegant villa which celebrates its sensational private location, its Mediterranean charm and its handpicked furnishings. For large groups of guests, either family or friends, this property is perfect. In total it offers eight outstanding bedrooms, very comfortably sleeping sixteen guests. Multi-generational families love this villa as they enjoy some independent time as well as enjoying a dreamy holiday together. With outstanding architecture enjoying references to local tradition, combined with contemporary luxury and absolutely stunning outdoor space, not to mention superb sea views, guests enjoy a brilliant holiday here.
The villa is located within walking distance of the nearest beach just 150 metres away. It is a ten minute drive into Porto Heli and close to the village of Kostoula in the northeast Peloponnese. This is a beautiful area and it is very understandable why it has won the title of the ‘Greek Riviera’. Its unique natural environment boasts a fiord-like coast, hills sprinkled with pines and cypress trees and small bays offering glistening turquoise water, very popular with the global jet-set looking for tranquil, luxury retreats. You will taste delicious authentic local food with fresh products straight from the farmers and fishermen. You can take a three hour ferry from Athens to the port at Porto Heli or take a picturesque drive along a fabulous, dramatic coastline and through the mountains. The delights of Hydra, Poros and Spetses Islands can easily be discovered by boat or water taxi.
Villa Liba is built over three levels. As well as the main house there is a separate apartment with two bedrooms and another two bedroom guest house. The entertainment spaces are truly magnificent. The main living area in the house is divine. It boasts two gorgeous seating areas, a giant Smart television, a gorgeous feature fireplace and an exquisite dining space. Under a high vaulted and beamed ceiling, the space is cavernous. It combines tradition with contemporary flair brilliantly. Two sets of sumptuous sofas sit beside the fireplace and the television so guests can separate at their whim. Above the giant feature place is an equally giant clock. There are so many features of this stunning villa that will catch your eye and leave you smiling. Equally large are the giant works of contemporary art that decorate many of the walls. You will soothed by the natural colour palette and excellent flow between spaces. At the television end of the room there is a huge picture window offering beautiful sea views. The dining area enjoys two walls of sliding glass doors that bring the outside in, give access to the terrace and pool and drown these magical spaces in natural light. The perspex dining table and chairs adds a touch of that contemporary flair. Just off this area is a fabulous, spacipous, sleek galley kitchen that offers the very best of appliances that will please your chefs. The far end of the kitchen opens up to a fantastic alfresco dining area.
One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor. It boasts sumptuous twin beds that can be put together as a super kingsize bed. It sits in the perfect spot so that you can head out to to the terrace with your morning cup of coffee to enjoy the views or perhaps for an early swim. There is a very smart, immaculate shower room too. The lower level of the villa is home to a playroom or separate living space with a bar, a well-equipped gym, a sauna for some indulgent me time and bedrooms. One is a bright and airy, gorgeous double with an ensuite bathroom and the other is a suite. It can be used as a bedroom with a living room or as a family suite with children sleeping on the sofa bed. It comes with a bathroom too and enjoys access to the beautiful gardens. The upper level is home to a gorgeous master bedroom suite and another double room. The master is elegant, romantic and offers fabulous views out towards Spetses. It boasts a large dressing area, a private balcony, a fantastic ensuite bathroom and a gorgeous vaulted ceiling. The double room offers beautifully dressed twin beds and a cute balcony with deck chairs.
The separate apartment enjoys two bedrooms, a shower room, kitchen and a living room. There is also another guest house which is available to guests with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a vibrant living area with a fireplace and a kitchen. The styling is much more contemporary here with a real zen feel and low beds.
Villa Liba sits within extensive stunning landscaped gardens sprinkled with towering cypress trees, colourful plants, architectural pots of which some elegantly lay on their sides and large lush lawns. It is absolutely stunning. The main terrace enjoys luxury loungers and super cool bean bags which surround the enormous 16.5m x 7m swimming pool. There are two fabulous alfresco lounge areas, one sunny and one shady with trendy rattan furniture and superb sea views. The alfresco dining area is truly magnificent, set within an exquisite brick and stone area with a huge dining table and excellent facilities for your barbecue masters. For some fun healthy competition, there is a table tennis table. You definitely will not want to leave this magical spot!Villa Liba enjoys a wonderful location, offering guests total seclusion. It sits close to Porto Heli in the northeast Peloponnese. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the villa’s surrounding nature, its heavenly sea views and to time together as a large group. Villa Liba is the perfect hideaway with the dreamy island of Spetses within very easy reach. At Kilada Bay, you can meet the local fishermen, choose your own fish and cook them in the villa or perhaps arrange for a private chef to do it for you. This area of the Peloponnese enjoys local delicacies such as the delicious gaviera cheese from the village of Trahia. There is no other area in Greece with such a concentration of wealth. It is easy to understand why discerning globetrotters head to Porto Heli. The area is is absolutely stunning, rich in interesting archaelogical sites such as Halieis and boasts a vibrant nightlife. Porto Heli’s coastline of inlets are calm, warm and sprinkled with luxury yachts together with traditional wooden kaikis. Although incredibly rich, Porto Heli enjoys a rustic, homely ambience, such a wonderful blend for a memorable holiday.
The tourist friendly island of Spetses is a fifteen minute ride away in a water taxi from Costa harbour. Spetses’ tiny port of Dapia is overlooked by whitewashed, neoclassical houses, cozy cafes and ultra stylish boutiques. Its winding, cobbled coastal path opens to a stunning, wide, timeless piazza and home to the glorious, chateau-styled Poseidon hotel. Cars are banned from the town so visitors travel in horse-drawn carriages, admiring the fishermen laying out their catches, the impressive villas, domed churches and buzzy tavernas. The island is a favourite with fashionistas, people watchers, nature lovers, hikers and foodies. Its cosmopolitan Old Harbour is sprinkled with romantic terraces, candlelit tables, jetties, trendy bars and clubs where visitors enjoy gourmet dining, fine wines and soft music. History lovers can learn about the island’s fearless heroine Lakarina Bouboulina, the 1821 revolution or enjoy archaeological finds dating back to 3000 BC. The island is blessed by beautiful beaches with Kouzounos, Ksilokeriza, Vrelos, Agia Marina and Agia Paraskevi amongst the best. Agia Paraskevi is a lovely beach surrounded by lush greenery and enjoying crystal clear waters. At the beach of Agios Arnargyros you will discover the famous Bekiris Cave.
Close to the villa you can enjoy various beaches including Costa Beach, Hrisi Akti Beach and Porto Heli Beach. There are a number of pretty villages and towns to visit close by including Kranidi, Kilada, a small fishing village, the picturesque Ermioni and Epidaurus. Ermioni is built on a cape, surrounded by fragrant pine trees, so it strongly resembles an island. It boasts stunning beaches, a charismatic harbour lined with popular fish restaurants and some clubs. Other beaches include little coves around Bisti, Kouverta Beach, Petrothalassa, Dardiza and Sentoni. Epidaurus is one of the most popular archaeological sites in Greece, mostly famous for its Ancient Theatre which is in an excellent state of conservation.
