The panoramic views from the outside space are breath-taking, especially when the sun is rising or setting and the sky’s colours change dramatically. In the morning, step through the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors from your bedroom directly out onto the spacious terrace. Tuck into a breakfast of fresh fruit and coffee as you gaze out to sea and start to spot boats sailing by – maybe you’ll embark on a boat trip yourself?
We love to start the day with a dip in the refreshing pool, whatever the plan is. You might head to the beach – Paralia Choras Mikonou is just fourteen minutes away on foot. Splash in the clear, calm sea, give snorkelling a go, or simply lie out and soak up the sun. When you’ve had your fill, head back to the villa to pop open a bottle of bubbly and get comfortable in the Jacuzzi. Sip your fizz as the sun sets, then see which constellations you can spot in the sky.
Mykonos town is only a sixteen-minute walk away, so you’ve got your pick of restaurants and bars. There are plenty of shops too, if you’d rather fill your fridge with groceries – we’d certainly be making use of the twelve-seater dining table for alfresco feasts.
