As well as an alfresco dining table and a shady verandah, there’s a swimming pool that overlooks the landscape.
The home’s tall windows mean that the scenery can even be admired while you sit inside. The design in the open-concept living-kitchen area opts for simplicity, with whitewashed walls and furnishings, plus contrastingly rich wooden finishes in the kitchen. Come the night time, you’ll be grateful for the fireplace in this space.
When you want to see a little more of the island, the centre of the main town takes under a quarter of an hour to reach by car and rewards those that make the journey with museums, restaurants and the famous windmills. The nearest beach, Paralia Psarous, is only a seven-minute drive, too.
