Villa Heber Greece
Holiday Home Rental Description
The gorgeous Villa Heber is one of two contemporary, spacious new villas overlooking the wonderful Elia Beach. The villas boast seven astounding bedrooms suites, sumptuous, first-class furnishings, breathtaking sea views, modern artwork, state-of-the-art kitchens and the most magnificent, lavish outdoor terraces. Villa Heber sleeps 14 very lucky guests, but if you are travelling with a larger group, you could always book Villa Habel next door. Each of the villas offers its guests complete privacy. Villa Haber has been carefully designed using fabulous, contrasting materials. The traditional honey-coloured stone walls blend perfectly with the stark-white walls, chiselled stone, plastered curves and the gorgeous wood used throughout the villa. The modern, trendy furnishings are impressive and eye-catching. The Mykonian style has been maintained in a thoroughly modern way. Guests will enjoy many wonderful evenings on the terrace of Villa Haber. The ambient lighting and outdoor sound system add to the sublime setting. The covered terrace is decked with incredibly comfortable lounge seating, superb alfresco dining and a jacuzzi for pampering sessions. There are actually two alfresco dining areas to choose from and plenty of quiet corners around the villa where you can relax. The superb infinity pool has a unique feature of underwater windows and is surrounded by deluxe loungers and bean bag beds. The terraces are huge, so there is plenty of room to move around and choose a sunny or shady spot. The sunsets are absolutely magnificent from the terrace. Villa Haber is extremely spacious inside and out. The stunning open plan living and dining space has two separate lounge areas. An exquisite corner sofa is at one end of the room plus there is a smart, bright reading section with fabulous views out to the pool and terrace—light floods through the huge windows and doors illuminating the whole glorious room. The dining furniture is supremely stylish. The artwork and lighting are modern and very attractive. The villa benefits from a sleek, contemporary kitchen with everything you could imagine you would need to prepare delicious suppers. The villa boasts seven exceptional bedrooms, all with immaculate, delightful ensuite bathrooms. There is a mix of double and twin beds though the twins are all next to each other, making huge beds. Some of the bedrooms also benefit from small kitchenettes. The colour scheme throughout the villa is neutral and calming, mostly white but with grey, stone and green hues. It is just beautiful. Gym enthusiasts will be delighted with the villa’s well-equipped gym. Villa Heber and its sister villa, Villa Habel occupy an exclusive, brilliant position overlooking the beautiful Elia Beach. The villas are very private and the gorgeous sea views are framed by the pretty hillside and wonderful, colourful planting. Elia Beach has one of the longest silvery white sandy stretches on the south coast of Mykonos. It welcomes everybody and offers a variety of watersports, cafes and also water taxis. Mykonos, the Ibiza of the Greek islands, is upmarket, beautiful and boasts pretty, whitewashed villages, 25 stunning beaches, an enviable dining scene, trendy beach clubs and over 800 chapels and churches. It is well known for its party scene, particularly around Paradise and Super Paradise Beaches. Some beaches are highly organised by day and turn into revellers’ stomping grounds by night. There are gay and family-friendly beaches all around the island. The beaches on the north coast are less sheltered and are attractive to windsurfers and those seeking solitude and tranquillity. Mykonos Town is picturesque and charming. The narrow, cobbled lanes are draped with bougainvillaea. Matogliani Street is brimming with label-laden designer shops. There are plenty of cosy cafes and gourmet restaurants serving a huge variety of food. Little Venice hugs the waterside with chic bars settled on the crazy paving. Visitors arrive to indulge in a few sun-downers and watch the sun go down. The souvenir and jewellery shops are buzzing. The island’s picturesque windmills rest on the hillside above Little Venice and remind the islanders of days gone by when there were 28 windmills on the island. Close by, visitors flock to take photographs of the beautiful whitewashed Paraportiani Church. The open-air cinema of Mykonos is situated in a pretty botanical garden and is very popular with visitors. The picturesque Ano Mera village is the second largest place to visit on the island. It is very close to the villa. The beautiful, restored Panagia Tourlaina Monastery is home to many holy icons and paintings and features a delightful marble bell tower dating back to the 18th century. Ano Mera has a lovely atmosphere where many locals hang out. You will get a real feel for how it is to live on Mykonos. Very close to Ano Mera is the 12th-century Monastery of Paleokastro which is also worth a visit. At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
