Villa Olimpia dates back to the 1800s. It is filled with a traditional style and sophisticated atmosphere. The wonderful location on the hills of Sorrento allows guests to benefit from the tranquillity and privacy of life away from the hectic city. Guests can take time to soak up the stunning sea view while relaxing in the beautifully decorated villa.
The villa has 10 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 30 people. There are plenty of fun activities for guests to take advantage of during their stay including a swimming pool, tennis court and Jacuzzi.
Guests can relax and unwind in the fantastic garden, reading a good book with the birds singing in the background.
Villa Olimpia has prepared everything to perfection in order for guests to feel right at home. For all food lovers, Sorrento is an ideal destination. The cooking class “Olimpia Cooking School” can be organised at the villa directly with the resident chef.

Getting There and Back
By air: Napoli (Naples) Airport “Capodichino” (distance 60km). 
By helicopter: to a private area adjoining the villa.
Once guests arrive in Sorrento, they can take the SITA bus (the blue bus) to Sant’Agata, then walk for about 300 meters or call the hotel to be picked up. Guests can request a private transfer from Sorrento.
By car: If driving from Rome, take the A1 Autostrada (highway) to Naples, then take the A3 highway Napoli-Salerno (Naples-Salerno) and exit at Castellamare di Stabia. Take the S.S. 145, observing the indications for Vico Equense-Sorrento. When reaching the junction at Meta di Sorrento, follow the indications for “Amalfi-Positano”. Continue to S. Agata dui due Golfi (Saint Agatha on the two Gulfs) where the indications will lead to the villa.
By train: To get from Rome to Sorrento, take a train from Roma Termini, Rome’s main train station, to Napoli Centrale, Naples’ main train station. Trains run directly between the two stations, although a few slow trains require a change, from early morning (currently 4:52) until late at night (currently 22:13). Circumvesuviana Trains run between Napoli Centrale (Naples main train station, distance 60km) and Sorrento. To get to the Circumvesuviana Garibaldi Station in the Naples train station (Napoli Centrale), go downstairs. Tickets for these trains (inexpensive) are separate from the Rome to Naples tickets and must be bought at a Circumvesuviana station. Train time to Sorrento is one hour, seven minutes. Trains run every half hour. There may be fewer trains on Sundays or holidays.Villa Olimpia provides an exclusive concierge service to be sure that guests can completely relax during their stay. HelicopterHelicopter transfers to and from the airport of Napoli Capodichino (Naples) with a heliport landing in our private helipad at Villa Olimpia are available.

The villa’s established contacts know the villa’s homes and many will deliver the car straight to the villa, so guests can settle in without hassle.
Villa Pre-StockingGuests can send a list of favourite snacks and beverages and the staff will have them waiting in the fridge on arrival. A welcome platter or feast can also be requested.
